Replaced the bottle with 6ml soy sauce bottle used the metal cap and hose from the bottle that came with the mod, the firing button is much easier to press now and the squonking action is awesome.View attachment 625615

Is the contact strip making contact with the bottle cap?

.032" is kinda thin, isn't it? What does the authentic use?

Given a wide enough piece it should be plenty thick, as long as it's springy.

I'm currently using .010 beryllium copper sheet for my contacts and it gives the button a nice, light feel compared to even .050 thickness.
At a certain point I suppose it becomes a matter of preference.

I'm waiting to see how quality the PC enclosure is. Not expecting much given but, may wait and see if they produce a better clone. Buy some silver sheeting and maybe install a better 510.

I got mine yesterday, and I have to say that the enclosure is pretty decently made in my opinion. Contact had to be slightly bent to prevent auto firing, but it hits really well with my Hadaly clone on it. It is definitely easy to mod with new contacts and 510. I'll put a fat daddy 510 in it for the spring loaded pin,and might make copper contacts for it.

Spring loaded pins and BF'g don't really get along too well to date... Fat Daddy has yet to make a 510 that won't leak at some point. If you are thinking about replacing the 510, don't skimp on it and get either a Pdib or a Varitube. The Varitube is made in self-adjusting or manual and is also cheaper, but the manual Pdib is rock solid...

Yeah fdv leak. Does the vt spring loaded leak as well? Ordered 4 of them the other day. 2 and 2 of each size. Going to throw one in my CC.
