Just checked email randomly and saw a payment notification email from paypal to an unregistered email that i didn't recognize in amount of 83.21. Immediately filed a dispute claim and changed paypal password. Thankfully the money was "unclaimed" so I was able to cancel. Bank records seem fine other than the 83.21 pending transaction. This is a first for me and hard to say if it is vape related as I almost never use PayPal for anything. Odd that bank account/card wasn't jacked outright, but paypal doesn't show full account numbers.

Just thought I'd share.

I would do a thorough check for viruses and if clean change your passwords. To pay with someone elses account you need their password with Paypal

Will virus scan when I get to laptop. Very peculiar though. I use paypal like maybe twice a year tops. Did use for a classified purchase here last month but that was legit. Password was changed though along with security questions.

Last week I got a email saying it was from paypal and that they made a payment for a "Skype" purchase and
had a link to click on if I wanted to dispute the charges. Smelled phoney right away so I went to paypal and checked
my charges and there was no new ones, I guess if I would have clicked on the dispute charges link I would be asked
all kinds of info like password and other things.

Went to paypal.com rather than clicking link. Saw the charge that I didn't make and the one I did make in march. Was an actual email from paypal. Changed password and security q's while at paypal.com by way of browser.
