okay- I continuted to have to take the plug out and blow air in, until i was about 1/2 way down. Dont know if that makes a difference or not, but I havent had a dry hit in about 30 hits. of course, I am also using another set up- same juice, I just am in the habit of having two going at once, incase one does dry out or get hinky.

maybe I just need to keep it filled to under half, always make sure the plug is seated properly, and it will keep just the right amount of 'vaccum' needed to stay IN the container but not dry hit.

dont take the plug out - when it starts to seem like is getting dry just give a sharp little puff through it the wrong way (blow through it dont take off the batt) and you should see a little bubble pop up in the tank from where the wick comes out. mine is still dong fine no leaks. will have to fill again soon lol

You tried 801/302? They're pretty nonstandard. Ah well!

801 is all I have to try. Their size is perfect, but the center hole isn't big enough for the top of the plug. I did get a few more in recently, and haven't tried the new metal ones. Let me try that.

Update: Nope. Center hole is just too small. Maybe the HV Mini Tank's plug.... yup. It fits. Airy though. Doesn't fit tight enough on the sides.

This gives me an 'almost' wet hit- to keep from hitting a dry one I have to get more air in there- and the best way to do that is to take the plug out. or at least thats how I fixed it this time.

With the saphires it got unfixable. I dryhit every single one in a 2 package order, after just a few puffs. seemed like they werent wicking or something-

presently, I am not 'dumping' perse, but I am finding some seepage around the carto. Not sure what the cause is. But, I havent dry hit since I got the carto down to 1/2 and took the cap off for the last time. Praying if I keep it half full, and the seepage stops i will be able to enjoy this without dry hits or dumping.

I'll be first in line to test again, tho I won't bother to post my findings. Seams I'm not in the "click or family" here so my words get ignored. Hell I'll just go back to stalking the forums, its worked so far. Either way thanks Bad for helping us out with new and better things and LordDavon a big thanks to you as well. Love your youtube videos, you make me laugh and give honest opinions.

I see where you've gotten responses, but I'm sorry if I missed a question that I could have answered. I probably couldn't, though. Keep posting! My comments or concerns sometimes get overlooked but I just keep bringing it up until someone gives me some input. If people think it's annoying, then they can go suck an egg :D I figure that if I ask a question that I can't already find the answer to, getting an answer will help someone with the same question on down the road.

put a small piece of tape over one of the vent hole on the outside of the c8 and it will make it wick better alasss no more dry hits

It's just that this doesn't work on all of the C8's that way... If you actually read the thread from March 23 and on... you'd see that what is reported by different users varies so much that any one statement made by one person just doesn't fit what everyone else is experiencing.

Some units are perfect in almost every way... Some just have occasional dry hits ( which your post would help, but it isn't the first time it was mentioned ). Mine dry hits most of the time, it leaks lightly some of the time, occasionly it will just dump all juice.... Really what has been reported has just been all over the board... Any statement that say just do "X" and "Y" won't happen... is doomed for failure on certain C8's...

If the company that has designed these did their homework properly... the next version of these that was mentioned should address most if not all of the issues that were brought up...

Are there going to be any "fixes" for the current version?

only the fixes you find here on the forum, any fixes added to the original version would make it the new version.

they have been filling them, vaping them and waiting for leaks and so far the results are positive.
