there is close to nothing that I wouldn't do in the name of Good Vaping

Thank you. But please, put your pants back on.

On a serious note, the C8 I am using in the VVPV has a hole poked in it, and a tube going in. It hasn't leaked yet either. That is leading me to believe, this is a pressure thing going on. I am going to open up the hole in the top of one of mine, pull the top seal, and see if that leaks at all.

Sorry folks,

I got pulled away for a while... Still I did get two test fills in ...

The 6th fill... I filled upside down ( 510 facing up ) all the way full with no bubbles... this one leaked but I can't say how soon... this was when I got pulled away and when I came back it had already happened.

Fill number 7... I filled upside down again... this time I "pulled" back on the syringe which should have given the C8 a little bit of vacuum. No leaks and it's been close to 30 minutes now... I'll play with the top plug to see if the leak will happen afterword or not.

All previous 5 fills ( with and without leaks ) were all on an eGo battery... these last two were just sitting in a small drinking glass. While just two tests without a battery are not enough to draw conclusions from... it does seem to indicate that having the C8 on a battery or not doesn't matter.

I'll continue testing different scenerios to see if I can find a common cause on this one unit.

I'm using one without the top plug, and I opened the fill hole pretty large. I've been hitting off of it without the drip tip either. And, I am using 4V on it. Now, I have put it down for about 15 minutes, and no leaking yet. I have it on a LT (cause I hate it anyway), and on a 510 to eGo adapter.

Oh, I can use my big drip tip on it without that top seal. If it doesn't leak, I am going to use that on it. I tried it a couple of times, and it gave an awesome draw!

Ok... it's bedtime but not before I post a last report for the nite...

Fill #7, even after removing the top plug/seal ... never leaked even after I vaped with a little bit.

On fill #8... Again I repeated the fill where I filled all of the way up with no bubbles, I didn't pull back on the syringe to relieve any possible pressure that may have occured during the fill. Vaped a bit with it and then took it off of the battery ( again ) and placed it upright in a glass... It did leak but only very little. It didn't empty or drop the level down to 1/2 like many of the other leaks I had.

I then opened up the seal... vaped on it for a little bit... then again removed it from the battery. It leaked just a little more, just enough to wet the glass it was sitting in forming a little ring.

I'll leave this one sit over night and probably through work tomorrow if it doesn't leak out by morning.

well mine didn't leak since getting the tip in correctly, but I didn't leave it sitting upright as I wasn't chancing it leaking on my computer desk, leaving it on its side it didn't leak. but the key here is all my leaks have happened after smoking a bit then putting it down, i've had no leak outs just filling it up and setting it upright, so people that are testing, make sure you take some puffs off it before just putting it down.
