Fresh battery makes mod cold

Anyone know why a freshly charged battery would make the mod cool when fired? It only does it for the first couple of fires after charging.

Using a Caravela with a MNKE IMR 18650 30A, kraken rba.

It doesn't "make" the mod cold, it just takes a while before the battery gets hot.

You're just used to your mod being warm from chainvaping so it's noticeable when you put in a fresh cold battery.

Well, if one put in the center of a warm to hot tube, a dense mass of cooler substance, the cooler mass would absorb some heat from the tube until the temperatures between the two balanced thermally. It's like wrapping your arms around a cold person to warm them up.

That makes sense. It's just strange that it doesn't get cool until I fire it. And it gets noticeably cooler.

I'm thinking it's more your imagination...
like your expecting the mod to feel warm but it is cooler than you expect....
