Freshly filled carts?

I see people filling carts and just using them right then and having a ton of vapor. For me this doesn't work at all. It seems I have to puff and puff for quite a while to get good vapor. Here are my methods and equipment. Please advise! Thanks everyone!

KR808d-1with a freshly charged battery With tasty vapor 24mg buttered rum @ 20%vg (Have used quite a bit of different juices and its still the same) I use the condom fill method and usually about 15-23 drops, I get no gurgling or anything to suggest I am flooding.

I wait ten minutes after filling and I still have to puff and puff before I start getting good vapor. I have tried right after filling,an hour after filling and two hours after filling and it is still this way. Is this normal, am I missing something, could I be doing something better? Thanks for any help everyone!

Don't know much about the model. If it's not a cartomizer, and it's not flooded, try priming the atty before putting the cart back on.

The only problem I sometimes have with the condom refill method is that I'll get a taste of liquid. I think gently blowing into the mouthpiece end (and then cleaning the contact end) after filling helps to avoid this.

Read my routine and see if you spot any differences from yours. I'm usually filling several cartos at once and don't measure the liquid into the condom, other than by sight (I use a syringe)... filling it to maybe 3/4th full, maybe more. Then slowly insert the carto mouthpiece end first. Go slow so the filler has time to soak the liquid up, and so you can stop the moment you see liquid emerging from the end of the carto ... hopefully before it can reach to the threads. Stop and remove, wipe, gently blow into mouthpiece, wipe contact end. Install and vape. Works for me.
