Freshman Mistake

my voice professor would always admonish me to not make "freshman mistakes" when I was singing.

<coughcoughmusicmajorcough>

I too am a survivor of that dreaded discipline. I just finished grad school for choral conducting, matter of fact. Obviously, I got much, MUCH crap from my instructors. Ol Doc Vangelisti is tickled pink that I'm vaping now though, although she's ticked that I didn't start while I was still in school. Apparently, my after-smoke smell stunk up her office. =D

Do you keep in touch with your professors enough for them to know you're vaping now?

Actually I didn't smoke when I was in college....started almost 10 years after I graduated (I know....even dumber!!). But if I was standing in front of my voice professor right now, he would smack me in the head for smoking and then praise me for vaping. For some reason, those stern words "freshman mistake" popped into my head when I tried to light my ecig. I don't think you ever quite recover from being a music major! :)
