i been here trolling but now this is me

i am 41 now and started smoking when i was 10 yes 10 years old. I know it was frowned apon then too but hey i was in a small town that still had the cig machines and they were easy to get to.by 14 i was up to 2 packs a day and have stayed there most of my life. My sis showed me her e cig when i went to see her in early march of 2010 and i tryed it and was hooked all the flavor and satisfaction i had loved but no hacking lungs in the morning.i ordered mine that day and had them 3 days later. The day i got my v4l kit and accesoriies i was hooked i quit that day and dragged my spouse kicking and screaming with me. It is now june and i am still tobacco free i can breathe and actually what i notice the most is smell everything differently. I am gonna fight to the last breath to keep my pv's cause i dont want to die.

ps i am a musician by trade or rather i was and i lost my voice early on due to raspyness and smoking my daughter told me the other day wow daddy you can sing good as we were singing to the radio. I almost cried i hope i am around for many years for both my lil girls thx e-cigs for saving me.

but it is cascading now i want a mod and some high volt action so we will see the outcome. And as always vape ON!!!!!!;-)​

We love reading stories like yours! Thanks for sharing it I used to sing too, my voice got so bad I wouldnt even sing in church Now after 3 months on ecigs and dropping the analogs my voice is coming back! Something I thought would never happen!

Welcome to ecf and congrats on deciding to vape. To me the best part is all the flavors of juices available. Analogs can't do that for me Plus they're just nasty now after vapeing for 3 months.

I know what you mean... it does cascade... I haven't received my first mod yet (Precise) and already I've ordered as well a (Screwdriver) and now looking at others. I wonder when I'll start saving money??

deadeye - Welcome to the forums. I use to sing a lot of backup and harmonies in my bands but voice quality eventually went away with the smoking. NOW, after these months of not smoking, it's pretty much back!

I've been trolling here also. Alot. Even found a coupon code to use to order a "Silver Bullet" here for a discount from a place up in Canada. BTW, this is my first post.

Quit "analogs" around May 21st, 2010, after smoking for 37 years. Using Cig Easy KR 808D-1 cartomizers for now. They are holding me over until my Silver Bullet arrives.

Am determined not to go back to smoking again. Even if it means going underground / bootlegging my vaping products. Sad if it ever gets to that, but with the corruption of things ( Big Tobacco and Big Pharma) .... it wouldn't surprise me too much if they pull off a ban of sorts. They seem to be trying hard to do so.

Can't overemphasize the power of the internet and forums like this. I've watched a zillion videos in the last couple of weeks about vaping. I've learned a lot that should save me some serious money. Being wary of advice from "vendors", I would recommend that everyone put in a small amount of research like this if on is a newbie/noobie. I find that people are so helpful ... it can bring tears to your eyes. Human beings are really truly remarkable ... I'm glad to be one of them. Lots of love being shared between folks. That's the greatest thing of all .... sharing some love with your fellow man.

Better keep this short ... got 4 more posts to graduate from the new user forum.

Anyways, I hope to contribute in some small way and I thank everyone here for taking a little time out to help one another.

welcome to the forum, you two! and congrats on your choice at health.. I am glad you're finding this forum as useful as I have.

I love to read success stories! It's a daily thing around here.. it's still mindblowing to be after all these months that there's something like this out here to help us get that monkey off our back, yet people still choose analogs.. It would be nice if some singers out there who make the big bucks would vape, and spread the word.. maybe their voice would make a difference and more of an impact on the big pharma, etc.
