Just not taking chances.
Will feel nice to not have to buy anything for years and years...

And all my stockpiling cost less than 2/3 of a years smoking costs. And that includes all my vaping costs for the last 1.5 years.
I have been picking up good deals and such for my stockpile for the last year or more.
have to buy some batteries in a few years but other than that....

I'm going to be so mad if Amazon stops selling those pillows that I love, which are mostly stuffed with organic cotton, because the FDA says that organic cotton is a tobacco product. Joking, by the way :)

I'm stockpiling too, just not items that were available before vaping was even a thing.

Whenever I think of helping someone with nicotine liquids in the future, I think of all the ecf posts from people who started vaping and suddenly, they couldn't breath, their throats were irritated, an heck, maybe their garage door quit working. Really, there could be liabilities (real or imagined) in passing out stored liquids.

Is that any different than freezing cotton? Why would you stockpile and freeze anything that will be readily available until the end of time? The FDA isn't out to stop people from baking cakes or making pillows.
Ironically, for those of us which like tobacco flavors and DIY, those are the most likely flavors to not be available...just saying.

To the OP's original question, I have laid up enough supplies so I will be in a position to help a few people out if need be. It was a choice, and the cost was minimal. I have been self sufficient for over two years now as far a juice goes, and the enormous savings has allowed me to prep extensively. If you feel that strongly concerning others future needs, maybe put a little extra aside so you can help them out if things really go sideways regarding all this.

If that is not an option, there is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself first. You at least tried to warn them, if they choose to not listen, it's on them...

Yeah here in Seattle a carton is about $100, all the money I've spent on stockpiling is about 2-3 months if I was still on the Stinkies. I'm set for well beyond my lifetime.

Only other thing I have stashed that shouldn't be affected by the FDA is wire. I love fused Claptons and my little voice has been telling me that quality wire may be difficult to find in the gauges I use. So been stocking up on that, if I'm wrong I just won't have to buy wire for a very long time.

Just make your own NET. some tobacco of your choosing and use one of the methods. just puttin it in a mason jar with some pg and waiting a couple of months is easy.

I am kinda surprised that nobody has mentioned weaning down their nicotine. It seems to be the #1 concern for stockpiling.

Just seems like it might make the situation a bit less disconcerting.

Or is that something that everyone has already done?

That's kind of the position I'm currently in. I was mixing about 10-12mg six months ago. Now I'm at 6. With my current nic stash, I'm good for over 9 years. If I wean to 3, I could easily stretch to 12-15 years. It's safely tucked in the bottom drawer of my beer fridge's freezer ;)

Wire might be a bit more debatable. SS should easily be around (jewelry-making) I'm contemplating some Nichrome 80 to supplement my stash. The only major reason I've built many coils recently is because I'm trying different builds. I could put a coil in, and technically not have to rebuild for 2-3 months. That's 3" wire for that one coil. Spread that across the 8 different spools I currently have (and some of them only have about 5m wire, some 10m)

So, wire for me is more of an "option/novelty" rather than a "necessity."

I need to resupply a few base flavors, but my heaviest-hitters I've acquired in 4oz bottles; others will be 30ml. I don't do a lot of tobaccos - but I did pick up a 4oz bottle of RY4 on my last order. THAT should last me at least a few years.

I like nicotine, I rarely drink coffee anymore and need my stimulant. Thus why I have well over 30 years worth of nic in the freezer.

Government can kiss my ..., I refuse to be forced back to Tobacco no matter how hard they try.

I've well over 20 years worth of nic, if i'd stay on 3mg juice. But if i couldn't get any new nic when i finished this, i'd rather stop vaping than going back to tobacco ever again.

Yeah I love SS fused Clapton's and finding quality wire I believe might be difficult, especially 34-44g so I've been stocking up.

For me, I love vaping and I enjoy nicotine. No bought and paid for Government puke is going to stop me. There is a will so there always will be a way.

I decided early on I'm not mixing for others regardless of laws except for a brother who insists on being helpless. The reason I'm doing it for him is my neice needs her dad for as long as possible. When and if the real crunch comes he'll probably decide he's not so helpless after all and what more control of his supplies. I'm storing his nic supply for now.

I've encouraged everybody I know and even complete strangers to become familiar with the FDA Deeming regs. Suggested they learn to make coils, buy rebuildable gear, buy nic base, etc.

What they do with the info is on them. I will not feel sorry for them if they go without.

@RoseJ ~ You cant save the world!!! You've already provided the needed information necessary but you cant make others listen, take your advice or even stock up. At this point, all you can do is wish them well & worry about yourself & your husband.

@kross8 ~ Real talk rii there!!!!

@Mazinny ~ Like you, I'm aware of the situation but in no immediate hurry to stock up. It's hard for me to adopt the sky is falling mentality.

I'm concerned that I've purchased so much nicotine, that by the time I get around to using it or selling it, it won't be good.
This is how I feel about all the juice I currently have. 6000ml or more of juice just waiting to be vaped.

@Robert Cromwell ~ I've gotten juice that was so peppery that my only choices were to contact the vendor or trash it.

I've learned through the years that unless a person invest their own money and time in switching to vaping they aren't going to stick with it :( I'll answer questions any time of day or night for as long as a person has questions, but the $ investment has to be theirs.
I definitely went down this road with several of my friends. As long as I was willing to supply everything, they were happy. When I quit getting suckered, they quit vaping.

Just like when the zombies come, everyone's on their own.

People (and some aliens) generally do not like do-gooders. And rather rightfully so.
Have you heard a do-gooder say "never drink tap water"? And immediately another: "do not drink water from plastic bottles"... Infuriating, isn't it?
I prefer to give information, not insist on action. Suppose vapocalypse never fully realizes. Suppose somebody spent because of your insistence a few hundred dollars on equipment which he/she does not needed . Not a bad way to make an enemy. The only thing I am sure about is that nicotine will be taxed, and heavily taxed. I am not so sure about hardware. So far I spent only about $100 on hardware I would not by if not for vapocalypse.

I say you warn them once and then when they aren't prepared, it's Thunderdome baby! Stock up on extras and then charge people through the nose as they try to drive the through the brutal vaping desert the FDA's apocalyptic bomb created.
