Hi, so Blu cigs got me into vaping and i just got my first ecig mod at my local headshop. It is called Tenacious Breeze 7. I have a few questions about traveling with a ecig mod. I wanted to upgrade because of the battery life on the blu wasn't that good, but now that i have a mod, it'll last me like a good hour. Is that normal? I'm a little dissapointed because i thought the battery wouldve at least lasted me like 6 hours? so now that i cant return it, i want to upgrade to something with a better battery life. I have an Igo 4 otw, but im not sure how the battery life on that is. Also i want to bring my vape with me everywhere with the convenience like blu. how do yall travel with your mod?

Oh and lets say i am in a hurry and i just wanna pick up my vape and go, however would it be ok if i leave it upside in my pocket? Will the juice slowly drip out of it?

Thanks:)

Upgrade to an APV that will last 6 hours? My top five, imho. are:

1. Sigelei V3/V5 (telescoping, best APV under $100 imho)
2. Vamo (good entry level, though some quality control issues)
3. MVP V2 (Box mod, long battery life)
4. SVD (telescoping)
5. iTaste 3.0 (stick mod, probably less than 6 hours depending on use, but 800 mah could last 8 hours)

For on the go? Portability of a couple of iTaste 3.0's is probably unrivaled. Any of the above APV's in 18350 mode will give you about 700 - 900 mah, say 5 - 9 hours (depending on your usage), and extra batteries are easy to carry.

For travel, perhaps a dripper/RDA is not the best way to go, because of leaking. I take an RBA tank with me when I go out or a carto tank, neither of which leak. Heard good things about the Nautilus clearo, and have seen several reviews and reports about it not leaking, With adjustable air flow control and a $35 price, it's a bit steep, but the best clearo to ever come out to date, imho.

You can get all manner of carry out gear from flashlight battery holders to lanyards with clever adapter/holders. The right gear for travel (sized right) can easily fit in my shirt pocket. Just don't bend over. Lost a couple of Evic's that way, lol.

Good luck in your vapeQuest! Power up and Vape On!

Vamos are ok, though compared to the itaste SVD They get blown out of the water. Svd is my personal favorite. Multi button display so it's user friendly. Unlike some with only one button, a hassle in my opinion. If you don't mind size but like options Check the svd or any telescoping mod. Just change the battery and you have a bigger/smaller device! Svd's are solid designed and perform very well for the price. Traveling isn't a big deal. I just throw it in my front jeans pocket where my pack USED to go. Or the inside Coat pocket. Heard about using a flashlight Holster which is kind of neat. But just more stuff to carry then I already do.

In other words, telescoping mod you can't go wrong with the svd. Plenty of options out there Checkout what you like best. All the Variable voltage mods do the same thing +/- a thing or two. Just the brand/where it's made/ looks etc.

Happy vaping

Thanks man i will look up into that when i get home because *cough cough im in class right now lol. I'm kinda embarrass to say the price because it was $84.95.

Bill's Magic Vapor has owned all those PVs and I doubt you'll find a more honest post. I own the Sigelei V3, Vamo V2 and V3 and the MVP 2 and agree 100%.

Personally, I currently have 3 mods in my arsenal, 134, SVD and Cool Fire II. Now the 134, not so great for on the go (however was an awesome conversation piece at the casino) however the SVD is PHENOMINAL like Ian states above. Telescopic and multiple LOCKING buttons. Fantastic. The cool fire II is so small you can palm it and won't notice it thrown in a pocket, and looks dead sexy with a Kayfun. Plus it has the same chip set as the 134, so it's like a portable 134 that looks like a grenade.

It all comes down to personal preference, but I won't leave my house without my SVD now that I got it.

Welcome to ECF. I also quit cigarettes using Blu's.

Yes, they certainly can. I went from Blu's to a cheap eGo with CE4 heads. The latter leaked like sieves. I currently vape on a MVP2 with mini-Protank 2's. And my frustrations and leaks are now a thing of the past. Good luck to you.

Sounds like you need to stay out of the head shop

lol i hear you man. so i just went to my local shop again and they sent me to a different branch that the owner and or manager is working at, and the guy was really cool, but he gave me the same brand but different battery. he said "if that one doesn't work then i would suggest you contacting the company" now this one works but the battery indicator always says low battery even though i charged it until the circular charger changed from red to blue meaning that it is charged all the way. I went on the website and everything just looked like a cheap knock off site. Their address and phone number is fake. So hopefully i can get a hold of them on facebook for a refund.

Again, i just wanna thank everyone for your help!

I would suggest scouring ebay and finding the mod you want! I often score stuff at very reasonable prices than just going to a local shop and buying what they have. Plus, most shipping is free on ebay, and that way you can price shop! I get my SVD tomorrow and Im VERY psyched 8) Before going to a mechanical mod, you should try a digital mod ala the SVD/MVP/etc!

EDIT: I also cant say enough good things about my Anyvape Davide tanks! They NEVER leak on me and provide a solid hit everytime! I prefer 2.5ohm attys in it! For the price, its a no brainer IMO!
