THIS kind of story is exactly why everyone just starting out should try to find a vaping Social Group to meet up with or a few people local to you who vape. Having an experienced vaping mentor can make all the difference (and keep you from making expensive mistakes and give you some support).

Awesome story, and I think I'm exactly where you are/were on the juices. I'm using a Volt, and filling the cartos with the juice I have taste nothing like the pre-filled cartos. I did the same condom methods, dripping, letting the juice sit, and I just cant seem to match the flavor. I've got a Riva 510 and some more juice on the way, hopefully it will be better. Anyone else have suggestions and/or been through this before?
Thanks for the great post. I've been struggling with the thick juice/KR808 problem as well. I love my thick organic tobacco juice from VapeRite, but if I hit it hard, 3 or 4 times in quick succession, I'd start to taste the nasty burn. This usually happened away from the house when I stepped outside to have a quick "smoke".
Working on advice from this forum, I've found do less "hot boxing" if I up the nicotine level a bit (for me, going from 4 to 8-12mg) for those special occasions. A couple of deep draws and AHHHHH! I've started using the same mix for the first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee and find that I'm not chain vaping so heavy during my wake up time.

Great story. And the thing I (and probably most others here) can relate to is that I too like vaping much more than smoking. I never would have believed that. Wish I'd gotten started earlier...
Thanks for sharing your story. I quit cold turkey without a problem but my sis, even if she is willing to, is going through a journey similar to yours. It will encourage her to know more vapers have gone through the same 
Congratulations! I'm new to vaping and am totally confused by all of the terms and types of batteries and cartridges, etc. My account is much simpler. I picked up a cheap one that looks like a real cig at the smoke shop, and I ordered some cute purple ones from an online retailer because that is where my SIL bought hers and I figured we could swap cartridge flavors if I bought the same one she had. LOL
I will probably just continue to buy the pre-filled disposables and use those, all of the mixing and filling and cleaning just seems like too much trouble to me. I want to keep the simplicity of smoking... smoke it and throw away the .....

Great story! I had similar issues with some "juice from the woods" in Bloog cartos. After some digging around this forum I stumbled upon a post where someone was talking about their success with said juices when utilizing a 901 atomizer attached to their Bloog. I figured it was worth a shot so I nabbed a 901 and experimented with dripping the problematic juices into it. Problem solved. And what flavor!! And the only price I have to pay is having to carry around a bottle of juice with me while I'm out and about. Of course this all led to furious research into dripping which in turn led to a few charges on my credit card...hehe Can't wait for my Icon to show up!!

Love stories like yours!!! -I have my step-dad to thank for introducing me to the e-cig -although he made the mistake of ordering a 'free trial' one and sent it back and never started vaping again -I am trying to get him into it though and I believe I am getting my mom started with a love of vaping, or at least I sure hope! It has been about a year ago since I first tried that first puff on an e-cig -I ordered a blu kit, sent it back, then ordered a Joye 510 kit and some liquids and pretty much fell in love -except for the fact that I only had 11mg liquid at that time which did not cut it for me and I fell off the wagon, so to speak, and went on a six month analog binge and rarely touched my PV for some stupid reason. That whole time I kept thinking that I needed to go back to my e-cigs -then finally one day I decided to order some new supplies and stumbled upons some potent anti-smoking videos on youtube during my process of searching youtube videos about PV's and it just hit me "WTF am I doing smoking when I have these wonderful e-cigs??? I then proceded to order some 24mg liquids, some Boba's Bounty and some BWB liquids -that night I broke a half pack of cigs in half and threw them away in front of my little girl and have not looked back. About 4 days after dedicating myself to vaping and not smoking I made the mistake of smoking one of my hubby's analogs one night after dinner and it tasted awful! I have not touched an analog since, and will never touch one again. My husband now vapes all the time, except he still has an occasional socail analog when he drinks (but not me!). My wish is for ever smoker in the world to fall in love with PV's like us and quit analogs for good!
