Thanks for sharing this, leeshor. It's strange, though, that the few video clips I've seen haven't come anywhere near to showing my own response as a vaper. I'll never forget my first vape and the thought I had at that moment: I can quit smoking with this, and I'll start right now.

Maybe it's because these media folks don't smoke cigs, or maybe it's because they're trying poor products... but I don't see the strongly positive reaction that many of us experienced early on. I wish I did for the sake of any cig-smokers watching and searching for help.

YES, Jeffree - YES Mary Kay!

While I am pleased The Doctors have had e-cigs on a few times they're never overly enthusiastic about it.

If they know it's going to be on the segment they can't give some to a few smokers in advance to get their feedback?

And to have e-cigs being lumped in with BS Nicotine Replacement Therapies is just, well . . . annoying

Get 'em, Yanks! Agreed. And after an idiotic coughing ashtray? Give me a break. People's lives are at stake. And this is exactly what drives me crazy about some of the media of today. But we all know--the day will come when some national station will air a segment that shows someone "respectable" flipping out with excitement after a vape. Maybe even with a quit-smoking story. Can't wait.

The ashtray must have been put in for entertainment value (I didn't think it was funny). Around here, they are sold in gag gift shops like Spencers. The other Drs show was much more serious and supportive of e-cigs. However....the guy on the left, in both videos, seemed to really like that big fat e-cigar.

Ya and he seemed to have the cigar grip down pretty well to. Probably a closet stogie smoker! HE'S SO BUSTED!

I'm afraid Respectable Smoker is something of an oxymoron these days :(

Hmmmm . . . has Keith Richards tried an e-cig? Not exactly "respectable" but he's the only famous person I can think of right now who still openly smokes in public.

It's sad but unfortunately, celebrities are one of our best hopes when it comes to exposure at least. I know A LOT of people who got turned on to e-cigs after seeing Leonardo DiCaprio with one.
