The way the forum is set up, some people may not understand when they first started on how to navigate. I have asked questions that have been asked before. I couldn't find the answer right away. Also the nice thing about this forum is people are kind to new people and understand that this forum takes time to navigate. In a giving day there are a lot of post. Also it is a choice to read and respond to the threads.

It IS a little aggravating when people don't read the rules when it is obvious you have to to participate........also find it a bit annoying to have the same threads posted, several in a day, asking what your fav juice is, what is the best so and so flavor juice, etc, repeat multiple threads of the same thing in a short period of time aggravates me. A little bit of searching or checking new posts and they would see that same thing has been posted a million times over. I do try to be understanding, for newbies this forum can be quite overwhelming. It is a HUGE forum. Doesn't mean it isn't annoying sometimes though....

I see you are also fairly new to the forums, so Welcome!

This is a huge forum, it can be daunting especially to a noob, most of the members here are particularly helpful and why so many people are here, if everyone was of the opinion that you have, we wouldn't get very far.

I guess it would be like posting a swap, but not posting what you're looking for.......just sayin

New to ECF, not to forums. I try to help people on here as well and I think I have accomplished that goal to the best of my abilities. I also figured I could rant in a section meant for off topic posts. I also thought when I said I was looking for e juices that it covered all the bases, who knows though, not everyone reads before posting......just sayin

LOL I get it. Not everyone is interested in reading. But in the thread you are talking about he stated he did read the rules and didn't see that. I also went to the tc and read the rules. It didn't say you couldn't post multiple requests.
You're right I never saw anything about that either.

You know... Not that I feel guilty about what you're aggravated by, I do however have trouble when searching the forum. My keywords never seem to yield anything near what I'm searching for. I've had better luck using google and being linked back to ECF. Lol
I know a lot of questions are easily answered via search, but some simple ones that have been asked a number of times before don't come up easily when searched in the forum. Well at least not for me..

I do agree that the search feature on this forum can be sketchy, using the search ecf with google button, or just opening up your own tab with google, putting in the forum name and the topic you want to search in the search bar, and doing it that way, is much better. But also, going to the forum that best fits the info you are looking for and paging down through the topics works too.

I see both sides really. But I also have to keep in mind that I myself get accustomed to forums and how to navigate them more quickly than others, because I have been a member of forums in the past...

I hear ya and I agree it is hard to find some stuff with the massive amount of threads on here. I also agree with your google comment, it's amazing how ECF usually comes up in the top.

You know what Loveridden, you're right. I think having experience with forums in general really help when joining new ones.

Also, you have to keep in mind what state of mind the poster may be in. When I started here I was in a very serious state of grief. I wasn't really thinking straight. I don't remember doing anything totally obnoxious, but I may have. We never know what the people we meet here are dealing with on the outside, so I try to remember that. Just in case they are in a state of mind that I was. I try to use a little extra patience or I just surf away from the thread. Can't tell you how many posts I type and erase w/o posting.
