i have ordered Penny clone 1:1 and two attys. they are on the way and in the USPS system right now. the attys are Magma 1:1 and Stillare V3. both clones. from what i'm reading, both attys have long 510 pin, and Penny clone has long battery rattle pin. i've ready lot on sanding both pins. but i'm thinking.. what if i just take out the battery rattle pin? that would be much easier solution then sanding pins.

why aren't the people just removing the battery rattle pin? is there some reason for not removing them? will the open hole in the positive pin in the mod cause some specific issue?

looking at the pix and watching YouTube, Penny clone has two pins on the positive end. positive pin itself you adjust to get the atty 510 pin sit properly, then there is battery rattle pin in the middle of the positive pin to adjust battery rattle. so, even if you take out the battery rattle pin, there is positive pin in contact with 510 on atty side connecting to positive on the battery. so, only thing battery rattle pin is doing is... stop the battery from rattling, and in contact with positive pin for connection, if it's in place. if the space is tight, removing that will give additional space for battery, and 510 on atty.. I would think.. i'll have to see it when i get it in my hand. but main thing that bothers me is if hole in the positive pin will cause any issue or not.
