Full VG Mixing + ego c specifics

Hey guys.

Im looking for some advice on a sweet spot for mixing water into a VG base for decent wicking on an Ego C.

Due to an alergy to PG i have decided to mix my own and now have infront of me sat 6 flavours from Decadent Vapours. here in lies my problem. I decided to try a 85% vg 15% water mix for my 1st test batch of 5 mil here lies my problem and where i want a suggestion. What % should i mix the watre at to get good wicking as 15% just doesnt seem to be enough to get it to wick the way i want it to (ie no burnt taste every few draws then having to re prime)

My general formula is %water + %flavor = 20-22%. This makes it thin enough to wick in most cartos and tanks. This includes ego-T carts, but you have to experiment a little, of course. Some flavors are thicker than others, but this is a good ballpark I have found. Most of the time I am vaping unflavored 12-18 mg, which is VG, nic and about 22% water.

That said, I have not found a good VG formulation for the 510-T. Seems it should be like an ego-T, but it always tastes burnt, no matter what.
