I dont get much attention but occasionally,
a couple have said the odd cloud i blow is impressive.
I heard two people speaking about me and they said 'well, it does look like smoke'

The one guy in the pub while he was having a pint and a smoke told me that; 'I'd rather have smoke in my lungs rather than water vapour'! :?:
I just left him be.
Sometimes I'll explain but when somebody is so adamant I can't be bothered.

The one guy who was weirded out by kids vaping big clouds at a bus stop told me he'd rather have guests smoking in his house than vaping. o_O
There is a lot of wrong things going on there.

The absolute worst was a guy who came in the shop I worked in, while I was chatting to a friend about a mod and said to him;
'They are a waste of time. Just give up like a real man'

That was annoying. I then had to vape away a lot of frustration!

My best friend, an otherwise very intelligent woman, told me how bad vaping was as she lit a cigarette. We were having some drinks after I had been vaping for awhile and had made the complete switch. I just laughed at her and proceeded to shoot down all of her points (popcorn lung and FDA mostly).

Bah....
Since I started vaping all my clothes stink of strawberries and cream, my house is cluttered with brass, stainless, and copper parts and tubes, I get bits of wire stuck in my socks, and half the spam in my inbox is from China.
Everytime I read OMG my mind sees 0mg, flashlights all look like mods now, and every time I look at the digital radio display in my car I want to set the wattage.
Vaping has its drawbacks

I must say it is pretty amazing how misinformation has been promoted or presented in such a way that smokers and even non-smokers are such experts who know more than most of us educated vapers who do actually know what we are doing.
Yes

Both of us.

I have a realtor friend that just bought a brand new Ram pickup.
V8, loaded..nice truck.

There is no shift linkage.
All fly-by-wire.

Day 9 of ownership, the truck stalls so he calls a towtruck. The driver tries for a half hour to put truck in neutral, but can't as there is no power to actuate the shift button. (You have to disengage it at the tranny).
Towtruck dragged the Ram onto flatbed.

At dealership they had to replace the transmission.
Luckily it was under warranty.

Yeah.....
Ill stick with the older stuff.

'OMG, popcorn lung' is the latest comment i've been getting (guess it must be being rehashed in the tabloids). It's always from smokers.
My days of trying to educate smokers are over since i've realised the're just looking for an excuse not to switch...
Yes popcorn lung...it keeps getting spouted here. I'd that sweet or salted?

Or maybe instead of worrying that I might contract the deadly "popcorn lung" or God forbid blow my face off, which by the way is only ever fault of the mod and never the user. You could be more concerned with actually poisoning me and destroying your own body.....just saying :)

Haha poisoning you how?? :p
With the passive smoke that you find in beer gardens and such places, outside hospitals is a great place to catch a lung full of cancerous toxins.
But hey, e cigs are the "real" issue here. They must be banned and they must go back to the healthy habit of Lambert and butler, embassy and Marlboro to say but a few. :)

i despise the dial shifter, since it's all electronic now, lol going to ask the hubby about that when he gets home with the '16 ram, since i know the typical p/d/r is on the dial and i'm sure there is a 4th one(can't remember off hand what it is) and you can switch gears up and down on the steering wheel... i'd be calling a flatbed anyhow, since mine is 4wd and there's a lot of flatbed tow trucks around here... cause we're rural, awd cars are very, very common.

Technology and drive by wire is one of those things I hope to avoid by driving older vehicles and being an X Auto Technician allows me to keep the vehicles like new. My truck now has an Auto 4WD drive setting and I used it the last snow storm while plowing and I was very surprised how well it worked and no shifting out of 4WD to make those dry pavement maneuvers!
