Funny comment from smoker

That guy in the video probably tightened the button down so hard he pushed the pin on the atomizer in.
He would have had to crank the top cap down as it sort of works like a telescopic mod. That would cause it to crush the battery or the atty post.
The switch housing has a stop.
He may have backed the button up (which is how you unlock the mod) to far, which would back the copper contact off the post.
Creates an instant auto fire situation.
These mods are for very knowledgeable vapers only.
It angered me reading it if I'm honest, I was going to copy and paste but it's a couple of days back down the feed. He basically goes into "detail" how "He always gets it checked and maintained by the shop when he first got it" (not my bad grammar that's how he said It,so do you get it checked or did they just put it together would my question)
He says a lot of things but not the mod, I guarantee he blew himself up because of stupidity on an unregulated mod/much.
The post was full of self pity and absolutely no responsibility, also putting the blame onto the shop because he probably is going to try and sue.
that my dears is a perfect example of action/reaction you're ever going to get... it was his hands on it, not theirs...
I vape on a regulated mod, but if my battery gets low I lower the watts. Yes it's regulated but I'd like to keep that as a safety measure. I don't go nuts... I use married batteries, I keep it clean. I don't leave it switched on in my pocket. I'm responsible and careful...was he?

Some of the comments on that Facebook post are just too much. Someone even made the comment that he should just smoke a real cigarette like a man. Naturally I had to tell that person why they're called cigar"ettes".

I saw him over Christmas and I hadn't seen him since I quit smoking and took up vaping. I pulled out my vape to take a hit and he had a very alarmed look on his face.
I sez, "What?"
He goes, "I was listening to John Tesh on the radio last week and he said those things are dangerous! That could blow up on you, you know!!!"
So I blurt out, very loudly, "OH NO! JOHN TESH SAID THEY'RE DANGEROUS? HE MUST BE RIGHT!!!".
For about two seconds he thought I was serious, then we both laughed.

If you use "buttered" popcorn, you can get "popcorn lung", so ask if they like popcorn! There is are 2 reasons they tell you to open the bag away from your face. Popcorn vape!

Strange. No one makes these comments to me. However, due to my tendency to pontificate, they're probably happiest if the subject doesn't come up at all!
I've vaped for 4 or 5 years an never had a mech mod, was looking at a smok Turbo the other day but as i Know virtually nothing bout mechs i'm gonna leave it. However if anyone has any knowledge on them please message me. Dont fancy blowing my face off!

I hear these 3 narratives from the uneducated and always do my best to convince them otherwise.
It's interesting how people are so very firm in their beliefs in these narratives due to it being the first bit of information they read and absorb on the topic. The media is a powerful tool, such a shame to see it being used to this extent where it will sway a person away from a product that can make them healthier.
