I saw Luma's thread and I thought that I would like us all to share and comment on the stories we share. Here is a few of mine.

I was in applebees with my friends and I am using my VK at the time, we are at the bar sitting watching a game as I am blowing the vapor down and sometimes up. (Just so it doesn't get in anyones face) and this arrogant guy, I thought he was a jerk cause he saw the BLUE led on a BLACK battery... And he asked if I can stop smoking, me being drunk I told him that he should look at the damn thing and notice its not a cigarette. He got the manager and I told the manager that it is an e cig and he said "Talk no longer, I have one as well, and as far as I am concerned you can vape here." I said thank you and I kept vaping as I am drinking. A half hour later, the guy got mad cause he said he can smell peanuts and he didn't like it, so I was nice enough to switch to my smilin. I almost flipped out on him but I ended keeping my cool (for once in my life) and told him nicely to screw off haha. It ended with him leaving to go further down the table, that night I handed out 30 V4L cards cause they are in my wallet.

Another time I was in a supermarket and a stock boy saw me vaping and he had to be like 15. Tells me I can't smoke indoor's. I explain to him what it is, and what it does, the manager over herd and said that it is fine and that he should mind his own business.

It is the unintelligent people in this world that is making everything harder for us to do, even the simple things.

all I really got right now is during pub crawl here in town I went to the bar where a few of my friends worked, you know, for a couple free drinks. During pub crawl, the bars are packed with tons of dumb college kids. The smoking ban here is pretty recent so the big bouncer guy was on it when seeing people light up. I was talking with my bar tender friend and took a vape and blew it out because I knew he knew about it. Well big bad bouncer was all like "I caught you, missy!" and I was like "oh you silly big teddy bear its just an electronic." and that was it.
I try to avoid confrontation with drunk idiots so when I go to the bars, which is rarely, Ill stealth vape or just go outside with everyone else when they smoke and Ill even bring my white shorty so I dont get that "oh is that a fake cig?" makes me wanna slap them in the face.

Everywhere I vape people just seem intrigued and want to have a toke. I met an old friend at a wedding on the weekend and he was that impressed he wasn't going to let me leave without giving him my platinum auto. I did explain that once the battery had run out it would be of no use to him without a charger, but he wanted it anyway. I'm going to send him a link to V4L so he can keep using my favourite regular battery. I miss it already!!!

Last night when I was leaving work they were doing a bag check....happens from time to time in the casino industry....no big deal.

I set my purse on the table and the security guard, with his carefully gloved hands starts moving things around in my purse....the first thing he moves is a ziploc baggie with about 10 prefilled cartos and 5 bottles of juice....the look on his face was priceless.

He immediately quit moving things around and said...you can go.....still looking mighty perplexed....

If I was nice I would have explained. Better to make them wonder what you are up to :D

Everyone that is sober or "normal" asks me what it is, and how does it work and do I have a card, so I always go into a short explanation, so what I say is "It is an electronic cigarette and the one I am using is not the one on this site -grabs my wallet and hands a card out- And you can get one that does look like a cigarette. All it is, is water vapor and nicotine and it has flavor." I tell em what flavor and nic level I use and also explain that they should buy a higher nic mg then a lower one.

It was a dreary, sleet-fillednight...cold, windy...a perfect night for Morandir! (Or, so he says, but the winter wind coming off of Lake Michigan does not make for a "perfect" anything...except misery) :p I was in Chicago, by the lake, attending a member's night at the Shedd Aquarium and the heat and noise was winning the battle and I had to either jump into a tank to get cool or go outside (yes, THAT outside!) and have a vape as a reward for braving the elements :)

I was wrapped up, my hand was shaking from the cold, but I was really enjoying the peppermint warmth when one of the staff came outside to see what was up with the light that kept blinking...my pretty lavender diamond series with purple led ;) He looked at it and asked, "where's the smoke?" I explained vaping and lack of smoke, even held the tip in my hand to prove there was no heat...just an awesome "diamond" :)

He told me to follow him and I thought that now I'd done it...my husband would kill me if the guy revoked our Shedd membership :p But instead of turning me over to the PC police, he went into his office and THEN the grilling began...every question imaginable! He told me to continue vaping and started sniffing the vapor...he took the cart off and smelled it and could tell it was peppermint but couldn't detect it from the vapor :) Then more questions (some I couldn't begin to answer) and *finally*..."may I try it?"

I popped on a fresh cart...and then enjoyed the look on his face! He was in ecstasy :) He hated mints but loved the vapor! I gave him an espresso to try and BOOM! That was all it took...he was placing an order the next day! I left him with the two carts and an old battery (which he returned later that night...with a smile on his face!) and I went back to the exhibits :)

I hope he used the V4L card I left with him...I hope any of the dozen or so people I have handed cards to have used them...I want to see a society of vapors...happy, healthy :vapor:

That is very sweet of you to leave your battery with him, I have given my friends batteries and chargers, but none use it haha. Oh well, it is better to give then to let rot.

One morning first thing I did was go downstairs and While I was still groggy I missed my mouth with my pv and stuck it in my eye...

You DONT want to get niccy juice in your eyes.......... It burned so bad I had to go rinse my eye under the sink for at least 15 minutes. Ever since then, I don't vape before my coffee.....
