Ed, mine was a tight draw also, so I took a syringe needle(green) and probed all the air holes and found burs in all of them especially the one directed at the coil. Cleaned those out good and the draw was airy and no more burnt taste. I can hold the button down for one of those long hits with amazing vapor and taste. That and making sure the hole is lined up between the post makes all the difference. Assuming you have the wick and coil right which I'm sure you do.:)

ETA I'm using the T-tank also and if the draw was any looser I wouldn't like it!
The two i have built so far have a bit of a tight draw. When I set them up with the T-tank it was a really tight draw and was a large contributor to my burnt taste. A quick solution was to pop the baffles out of the top of the T-tank to allow un-restricted air flow. Draw is still a little tight so I am going to enlarge the air hole on at least one by just a hair to open up the draw a little. I also plan on widening the top baffle on the T-tank and possibly adding 2 more holes to it.

I agree, any GTUS that has a tight draw should be checked by probing all the air holes with a syrings to ensure there are no machine burs left behind obstructing the air flow. Increasing the air inlet hole on the side does no good if the 4 holes by the wick are blocked.

I'm feeling like a kid waiting on Christmas morning. Patiently waiting to turn green on the list. The suspense is killing me. Lol. Now that I see these being shipped I'm even more excited to be getting my first tank of this kind!! I have iattys and rebuildable stuff but they all take fiber wick. I really can't wait to see how much different the SS wick is!! Thanks again Dan for all your time with this!!!

Just a final thanks Dan.I got my tank today.I put an old wick from the original G-tank in it,wrapped it and it's working perfectly with the small tank on it.I do appreciate all your efforts and the design improvments you made. One more time THANK YOU!!!!
btw ..What did you use to tighten the connector to the unit I've broken 2 pairs of pliers trying to get it loose:)
