400 mesh is what I ordered, so I'm assuming that what was sent to me.

I don't think my sausage fingers are adept enough to roll it as tight as it should be. The one time I got it tight enough to fit thru the hole, the outer edge of the rolled mesh was spiraled around like a barber's pole sign. I don't think that's right. Probably a thousand bits of tiny frays on that edge now.

Meh.

First of all idk but yeah 35 x 35 won't work for me I made them smaller not sure my mesh is 400. I got it from the mesh company and they send you two extra sheets but I can't tell the difference. They all look the same. I will try another sheet later. My question is this is my first rebuilable atty and I have been using ce2 style for a while. I am getting plenty of vapor and no errors on my provari. But the flavor is not there? I mix my own juice and I am around 15 percent on flavoring. Which works fine for me on my ce2 style. I don't like overpowering taste but I get very little flavor and I thought with this the flavor would be better? Not use to bottom style atomizers so idk of I need to mix it stonger or give it more time to break in?

Oh geez. I'm stripping the head on the raised post screw. It takes A LOT of torque to get it to turn in either direction.

Any way I can make it thread easier into the plastic?

squirt a little VG in there for lube, juice is going in there sooner or later anyway :)

First off, thanks for everything. The GTUS is a thing of beauty no doubt. Rocking it ghost protocol style. Not sure if this has been mentioned but the top of a Vision Stone makes a damn fine top for the GP.

After several ss wicks that appeared to be perfect, solids and straws, I just couldn't like it. I taste a hint of metal and the wick can't keep up with my chain vaping. I have had success with a cotton wick so I tried that. The cotton wick kicks the crap out of ss imo. Since it is flexible I was able to shape it so the nichrome would be as close to the screws as possible and out toward the intake air hole. If you're having problems with the ss or just aren't happy with it give the cotton a try.

I got around that by putting on an old bob marley vinyl.

You might try getting the wick roll started around the straight pin or whatever and then using another larger piece of paper or rubber sheet to roll it up like some of the old cigarette roller operate.

as for the diff in mesh from mesh co if you look and feel the sheets closely you will see that the 400 is more like cloth than the 325 and other stuff; and for the taste i my experience the wick needs to have 10 ml or so for the vape to hit its full potential and rolling wicks just takes time to get them right most of the time, in a week or two your wicks will be just fine most of the time. i suggest that you do not use the gtank for your all day vape until you get the wick down first this might keep you from getting frustrated

I totally agree, I've lost track on how many genny wick/coils I've made for at present four different devices...but if I'm going away for a weekend with little chance for maintenance and repair I'll grab my best runner at the time of departure...and my Grand and a couple 1.8 306's ...hopefully I don't have to go there but it saves me from a lot of aggravation...it's my experience that all genesis atty's work perfectly in perpetuity when you have a nice piece of mesh, roll of Kanthal and a mini torch in front of you, as soon as you don't...it's like they know

I never even think about it, I take 3 sometimes 4 with me everywhere I go and I've never had a coil burn out. I don't carry any other attys. Surely they can't all go bad and I could vape any one of these all day with no problem, but I do take some coil wire and a screw driver in my little case that has my juice and other stuff in it. After over a year using mesh I've never had a wick go bad, you just clean it and the only time I've popped a coil was when I was installing a coil. The attys that I have are much more realiable than the china attys or cartomizers.

ETA: Didn't mean this to sound like I was putting down you post Quigs. Just saying I'm at a point I don't use anything else and never give it a thought. It seems more complicated than it is.
