SO TRUE! :toast:
No worries Murdock, Dan's got a good thick skin and a sense of humor. I don't believe that anyone feels that Dan is to blame. He could have sent everyone crap from the machine shop, but instead he QC'd everything and chose to have everything corrected before sending he products out to us all.

I think this is just people being bored. Many of the threads have slowed way down lately.

I work at a machine shop and while yes there is no excuse for this kind of ef up, people need to understand that making something in a shop isn't like making a samich, I was actually surprised how quickly the first pieces got to him but also thought that something had to go wrong, its not that easy, knowing now that different parts went to different shops makes even more sense why the problem is there. Dan is a great sport. Id be so up that shops,,,, u know. But as long as they do their part, we will all get our goodies in due time.

Excellent point. Where I work we often deal in millionths of an inch (like 10-20 millionths roundness tolerance, 50 millionths size tolerance, etc). Just having parts of an assembly flow through different departments can prompt a rejected lot if one piece is at the high end of tolerance and the next is at the low end, even though they're both technically within their individual tolerances.

I think Dan's handling it quite well, overall . . . unless he's secretly throwing temper tantrums that he's not filming for us to watch  If I were in his neck of the woods, I'd definitely buy him a beer when it's all over :toast:

So you are the one responsible for those nanobots soon to be invading our bloodstreams!

I hope Dan is taking this in stride too, I worry a bit as he seems to have not touched the lathe in a good while.

Yah, I meant no harm. No one blames Dan, if I blamed anyone it would be emachineshop.

Was just trying to have a little fun amidst the wait from EMS... if I had anything to say to Dan I would do so in PM. And I don't, as he's not the cause of the problem. He is doing all he can in this situation and I understand that.

Good point. But now I have a problem. Once Dan sends these out the value of my GTUS will go down.

Take your time Dan, take your time.

LOL

And the truth comes out! Lol.

Hey Murdock, I just watched your 3ml syringe tube mod video. I cut up a syringe, added a condom and part of an old CE2 and added some pure VG into it to see if there are any leaks. Its been almost 24 hours, no leaks at all. I cant wait to try it on the "Geetus" :p

In my experience, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. lol If you're not .....ing, no one will pay attention in this world. It's a shame. But it's true.

Hey, I'm getting pi$$ed here, I want to know where my stuff is!

My patience is wearing thin, I'd really like to know where my parts are now.

Can I get a real status update up in here?!

Dear sirs...

Update:

Wow a fast response from alex, and my cleaned up query :)

Hi Daniel,

Sorry about the delay.
I am still working on this.
I want to be sure that you do not receive parts which will be useless to you.
Please bear with me.

Best Regards,
Alex Dimitrovski
