Good question, why the tall wick?

See that piece in the background near the middle of the pic? That goes on over the piece with the coil and the wick has to protrude through it. You could probably trim it a little bit shorter, but not much. Take a look at the pics in the co-op thread and you can see how much the wick protrudes into the tank, this pic in particular I am referring to

They are 1/2"OD x 1/16" thick. I can order 400 of them and have em shipped here. Then I will include a silicone and a buna for each unit. Will check at mcmasters and see how much they are.

LOL yes... if you did not want PA Pre-Assembly, you will need to glue the nylon screw into the threaded hole in the bottom piece, and the PTFE spacer in the center hole for the bottom piece where the wick sets.

The tall wick is because it was one I had on hand that fit the diameter I needed, I was in a hurry and did not trim it. LOL, you guys catch everything

Epoxy have used it 6-7 time SCREW IT UP EXVERYTIME. what else can I use
Torch. Now I am stumped. why i gods name would i go ANYWHERE near me G-tank with a torch.

Sounds like you need to do a bit more research on what you are getting....and quick.

The torch isn't for the Gtank at all......the torch is for preparing the wick....oxidizing to keep it from getting a short.

Well i just picked up a Scubagen V3 with mesh and wire and i have the stuff i bought on ebay... Guess i should start practicing!!!! So by the time my Gtank comes I'm a pro.... Think i need 1 of them metal rulers Tho..

I just mark my mesh using a pencil and cut it with scissors works for me
