*EVERY* time I sit down & try to buy my starter kit it gets put off again. Either I've read something that changes my mind for whatever reason, or I see something prettier, or I get scared. I'm too afraid that if I get the wrong one that several things might happen:
~If I get one thats thin, long, & pretty I run the risk of it not having enough power/taste/flexibility/etc. or whatever
~If I get a big n clunky and it feels awkward or doesn't replicate the ritual of smoking closely enough to get me to quit smoking.
Basically, if I hate it, I might give up quitting. Hate to admit, but having the *intention* of buying a kit lets me retain the hopeful outlook and idea that its still possible to quit. Once the kit is bought and hated, well, there goes my ambition.
I have a hundred or so questions, & perhaps I'm tackling too much at once, but Ive been waiting entirely too long & I need to get the show on the road. I've narrowed it down to 2 types: the ever popular and highest recommended (by far) Spinner/Twist Ego VV tank Combo, or the Joye eGo-tank System XXL 1000mAh Starter Kit. I want to place my order *tonight*, thats my goal, but if I don't have as many of my questions answered I know I wont be able to decide. Bear w/me here, this is gonna be long...
~Is there a difference between a Spinner & a Twist? What abt diff between a Joye or Ego? Would a higher level mah mean a BIGGER sized battery? Size matters. Does a bigger battery mean a BETTER VAPE or just a longer battery life?
~Is there a real difference between different brands (different types exist too, right?) of clearomizers? Whats a "drip tip", is it a type of clearomizer or something diff altogether? Is a tank diff from either?
~I was under the impression that w/a starter kit, I would have everything I needed & it seemed fairly simple. Now I'm confused abt all the various parts u can buy & whether u need them all or can just opt for them & all that jazz. Like ... is an atomizer just an atomizer or are there diff types of atomizers? What do they mean by "standard, low resistance, or mega"? "Stiff draw"? Whats a head cone? Whats a head? Wicks? Coils? RAWR!!
~When they say "12 hrs of vaping", do they mean you can actually vape non-stop for 12 hrs, or do they just mean that after charging the whole thing will last for 12 hrs, regardless if you're just using it sporadically or not?
~PG or VG & WHY?
~What would be the pros & cons of those 2 kits (besides the things I've already mentioned abt the longer life, possible better/worse hits, better/worse feel)? Is there anything *between* the size of a cig-a-like & size of a pen type? A happy medium would be preferable.
~ I saw a video on u-tube where a girl had something called a "smokeymizer", what in the world is that and what are the pros/cons? Esthetically speaking, it was by far the most awesome looking one and the size would be PERFECT for me, but Ive never heard of them & cant find them anywhere!
I am thinking that having a manual is pretty much a necessity since I want the biggest TH/largest amount of vapor. Having to refill or charge often isn't a big factor for me since I have NO expectations as to how often I'd have to do either, so how could I be let down? Generally I can charge it where/whenever I go out. I hate the ones that look too fat. I hesitated on the Ego kit because I finally had something to compare it to in size, and turns out that thing is bigger than I initially thought! But I'd also given up on the idea that I could be happy with a cig-a-like a while back. Now I'm torn. I wonder if the *ONLY* pros to the Ego are longer battery life & filling less often cuz if thats the case then I will be leaning towards the 510.
I know there will be (or wouldve been) advice to eventually buy them *both* so that all my needs will essentially be met. But I feel that if I buy the pen type & it really does perform massively better then what exactly is the point in buying the small one? Looks only? All the ones Ive tried are like air. But on the other hand, if I buy the cig-a-like & its awful then I might not continue my efforts. I know me better than anyone.
Congratulations on living through this outrageously long post. I need help.
