i got them all off etsy. fast and very reasonable shipping by seller name: Alleystamp:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/200406192/crafters-workshop-6-x-6-sea-bubbles?ref=hp_mod_rf

i had a bit of a dehydration problem the last time i did it indoors that took me outta commission for a few days and a week or more to fully recover. scared me, so no more painting indoors with oil based for me.

Junquedujour I love how your creative juices flow.

So happy to hear it was dehydration and not a sinus infection. Best to wait till you can open garage for venting out nasty paint fumes.

When I'm able too take my rattle can paints outside...yes, I know it's been in the 70's here, like today. But, the dang wind has been blowing at 20-40 mph. Sorry, I don't want paint in my face. So, to answer your question very soon...when it's a nice day without wind. Ha!

BobC you crack me up... I'm off the deep end with DNA40 ... dang I like that chip :) But ... I guess there's been a little Peko action here and there ... with these black printed ones.

So I'm taking it that you enjoy the vape of the Derringer, would that be correct? Are any of those authentic?

Well... the authentic Derringer is all right but not as good as I was hoping for (messy little buggers they is) though I do enjoy the vape ... my clones are on the Pekos, super cheap and they're easy to BF. I favor a single nickel (3x twisted 32-34ga) or dual 27-29ga kanthal coils. The worst nickel coils I've had where my first duals on an authentic Derringer.

My favorite atty is still some glass around nuppin with TP. Might cut out a better cap one of these days... though I discovered a glass tube today that is very near the right diameter for a Derringer ? :) too many other things going on for a while and I'm really enjoying the low effort needs of TP & nickel.

messy? you mean the clones are leaky? or all of them?
also, when you say they are easy to bf, how did you do it? i've got some coming and would like to see/read how you did yours.

Leak messy and center ring messy when you pull it apart. My limited clone use has yet to juice all over the place ... though I'm sure it's just a matter of time as I often over squonk.

Drilling them out is easy because there are no angles or special prep cutting needed:
- mark deck height with ultra fine tip sharpie
- tap out the center post
- drill the deck drain hole
- vent the center post so that it meets up with the drain hole
- smooth off the fresh cut edges and tap it back into place

Here's a Derringer clone with the SS center post marked and removed

I did a little video of drilling out a simple one like these
