Try this on next firmware update if you have issues again

I posted this on Geekvape's forum

"I was trying to update my Legend to version 1.2, kept getting the error message “failed to find device”. I tried all the solutions offered above, none work.
I went to Control Panel – device Manager – Scroll down to Human Interface Devices – had 3 USB Input Devices listed – unplugged the cable for the Legend now only 2 show up – right clicked on the first one and disabled it – couldn’t disable the second one so I right clicked, and clicked on uninstall device.
Went back to Geekvape’s instructions and it connected and updated hope this helps someone."

I also noticed the firmware update now has an iOS version for the apple crowd good for them!

Would have saved me a ton grief when I had to use PC to update mine. I grew up with PC (was MSCE) but years ago witched to Mac for personal use, still using PC at work but I am much more at home on a Mac.

I used these 2 videos to update using my PC.
Go 1/2 speed and pause with the Geekvape one.
I used 7-Zip to extract the files into their own folder. I was stuck until I did that.

Watched both didn't help me, my problem was usb HID conflicts. I wished it had been that simple or that I would have thought to check for conflicts much quicker than I did.

I also tried just about every work around I found on Geekvape's forum. It was a long night.

They look compatible with Baby Beast.

Themis mesh on both of mine. TC works good with them both screen mesh and vapefly stampings.

They look good to me, Myk. I thought if we were gonna have a Legend thread, there should be a link to your mods, especially when everybody was talking about colors. You really made yours your own..

I personally would love to see a triple battery Aegis but probably won't happen. Not enough demand for 3 battery mods these days

Me and my girlfriend have owned ours a couple months and besides some drama getting it updated it has been a wonderful mod.

Got mine yesterday ($44 @ 8vape). It’s the rainbow & currently has a rainbow falcon on it. They go well together

I think its worth it to update

Definitely update it. The Temp Control works and battery longevity between charges is great.
