It looks like vaporesso is coming out with their version of the Griffin. I saw this at VapeNW, not in stock as of yet. Pretty similar, but this also has top airflow.....

I don't remember, but I think it did? I don't want to mess up my build checking it right now though. My first fused Claptons so they're kind of special even if my wrap wasn't as good as I had hoped.

I actually just did my first normal claptons in the Griffin rta. I'm not so sure that the fused claptons are worth it. I've already wasted a hundred feet of 32 gauge kanthal trying to wrap any decent amount of fused clapton wire. I think I'm just gonna stick with regular claptons. I made a 2 foot section of it with 24 gauge and 30 gauge with no problems.

Did a little replacement glass searching on FT and someone suggested the kanger subtank mini glass would fit the griffin. So I got out my mini and checked the dimensions.Sure enough it fit and screwed together. BUT, the length of the griffin glass is 29.591mm and the kanger glass is 29.972mm. So the kanger glass just a smidge longer. The chimney seems to not quite seat all the way down but maybe close enough. I didn't feel like filling it up to see if any leaking until I might have to.

I have been enjoying a SS version for about 2 weeks now. A couple reviews reported the airflow whistles when closed down below halfway which I can confirm. My wife says we are going to have stray dogs showing up at the door!!! Performance has been flawless otherwise. Anyone else seen (I should say heard) this issue or found the cause or better yet a fix?

Finally! I finally got my Griffin that I ordered from GB in Dec. during one of their flash sales. It was very clean, but still gave it a quick bath. I had a heck of a time getting it all apart, had to run under warm water a little and pull out some gloves to get the fill cap off. I put in some dual claptons 26/32 6wrap, reading 0.33 ohms. Build quality is really nice on this Griffin. I just finished my first tank and gotta say, I'm impressed so far. This thing is a beast! It's wicking real nice, I got the wicks about half way down the channel. Flavor has been outstanding! Great tank, but definitely a juice ......

Ordered the stainless and black version. Should get them Thursday. I was disappointed in the Aromamizer. It's a good tank. I just don't think it lived up to the hype in the flavor department. So far my Billow v2 holds the crown. I hope the Griffin is just as good.

I have the Billow V2 and Griffin. For me, flavour is similar in both but the increased airflow gives way more vapour in the Griffin. Also, it's so much easier to build on. You should enjoy it!

That's great. Bigger build deck is always a plus. Especially in an rta. The Griffin was the image I had for a Billow V3.

I always liked the Aromamizer, but could never get used to the tiny 3 post deck. However, since picking up one of the newer Velocity style decks for it along with a 2-hole airflow ring, it's a world of difference. Still prefer the Griffin overall due to the larger build deck and top fill, but at least now the Aromamizer has a place in my regular rotation.
