I'd definitely recommend buying a Torxx T5 screwdriver also. I have stripped so many grubs with the included allen key.
i've already stripped two of the grub screws on my first build.

before i place my order, can u confirm with me will the Torx T5 screwdriver fit the grub screws on the Griffin?

I use this more than my mt now.

Hmm good idea, I hate Allen keys anyways, thanks I'll take a look!

They are 2.5mm x 3mm. This is where i purchased mine and he lives next door to you.

Thank you both, as I was about to ask about replacement or alternative screws. Now I don't have to ask :D

Can someone help me with o-ring placement? Got it today and one came off while cleaning it, not sure where it belongs. Thanks in advance.
Clear or black? If it's clear it goes between the chimney pieces and the glass. Top or bottom.

If it's black it's either between the top cap and chimney or IIRC the base and bottom of chimney.

Just got my griffin and cuboid yesterday.

It seems the surface tension of my juice is causing the bubbles to stick to the air holes and not permitting some juice to flow. DIY 30pg/70vg mix

Anyone else have a similar issue?

Are you actually having wicking issues though?

The reason I ask is I use 80VG+ juices and mine does the same thing, the bubbles will sit there quite often, but the wicking is perfect.

No sahara desert hits but gets close to dry sometimes. Thankfully rayon warns me a bit quicker than cotton so i can backoff without a serious burn

Hmm interesting. Are you wicking far down the channel? Maybe you're impeding the flow?

I haven't tried rayon with this device yet, because cotton works so well.

The trick with cotton on this one is to have basically none under the wick ring and just tuck it. I know rayon wicks like more of a capillary action, but maybe try shorter tails?

Thanks, got it sorted. I had the clear one "under" the chimney instead of "over." Now to get rid of the machine oil taste, after I soaked in alcohol and rinsed well. Apart it comes again. Uggghhhh.

It is normal at first but should go away. Are you wicking just to the top of the wick ring? Go back a bit and read. It turned this into a new tank for me
