I have 80%VG in mine right now and wicks without issue. I also was running some 90%VG in it for the previous 2-3 days, again without problems. I'm running a dual clapton 0.3 ohms. The Griffin will handle high VG juice, just needs to be wicked properly. I have a good bit of cotton in mine, used the Sushi Roll method and tails about halfway down the channel. I don't have any leaks or dry hits. Unless you a defective tank or o-rings, leaking and dry hits are usually user error.

It turns out to be to tight or to loose with the wick maybe the juice flow holes are not big enough or there in the wrong place when open but even 40/60 still gives a dry hit but i don't have any leaking so maybe i have no bis. using a RTA
Check out this vid, it might help with your wicking. The wicking is at about the 10:50 mark

Everyone has to start somewhere! Show us some pics and we'll try and sort it out for you.

EDIT: also as I mentioned earlier in this thread, make sure you have your juice flow control fully open, the slots are wider than you think.

Those wicks look like they're partially sitting on that ring. Get all the material pushed down in the wells, that should eliminate the leaking and make sure the juice is getting to the coil.

.14 ohm dual clapton.

That i have done but it seems like the wicks are to tight or to lose and a hit lasting longer then 2 secs seems to start to sizzle and 3 secs starts turning dry
Have you tried putting a small taper on your wicks ? So its not so thick on the bottom

Any more and then it's nothing but dry hits this tank doesn't like cotton blocking the juice wells and I don't have a leaking problem the only rta I can't get to stop leaking is my mutank

Gotcha. Thats what I have, 28ga x2 + 32ga. How are you liking your Griffin?

So far I've only run about 60ml through it, I try to reserve judgement on attys until at least 100ml but so far I like it a lot. Going to try some more builds on it this weekend. 28/32 Clapton parallel with 26 or 24ga is one I'd like to try.

Wicking seems to depend on the coil diameter. with a 2.5mm coil I run my wick tails down into the channels, 3mm seems to need to be just tucked into the ring as the cotton gets packed too tight when going into the channels and higher then 70%VG trimming the tails a bit narrower helps juice flow. The cotton needs to be loosely fit at the channels, keeping it fluffy at the ring seems ideal.

2 maybe 2.5mm and I have checked any they glow evenly

How tight is the wick in the coil? I see a lot of discolouration, and there's such a large body of wick at the top that I thought they were 3mm tbh.

I can't see anything else you're doing wrong apart from making sure it's all tucked behind the ring! [emoji4]

Id say reduce the thickness of your wick slightly, so it's slightly less tight through the coil and don't mess with the wick too much, just trim, tuck and juice.

Let us know how you get on!
