I've had this tank for a week, I've been in love with it and out of love with it a couple of times. Google will tell you many people have issues with this tank, wicking and flavour production. It sure doesn't leak, I've been very impressed with it - it's an RTA that I can carry about in my pocket or bag and it doesn't spill a drop. I initially chucked a 26GA KA1 6 wrap build in measuring around .4ohms and wasn't enjoying it - at 30W it created vapor but had no flavour, and at 35W or above it just started giving dry hits. I didn't want to give up on it though as it's a nice leakproof tank that doesn't take a dual battery juggernaught to power (I wanted to be able to use it on my single battery mod when travelling).

Yesterday I went to the vape shop and picked up some Wick n Wire Demon Killer Clapton Wire 26+30 and made a 6 wrap build for it right there in the shop. Came out at .8ohm, higher than I was expecting, but wow - at about 25W I'm getting so much better flavour now. Maybe this tank just runs better at higher ohms.

I'm finally happy with it - but be warned, it takes some playing around to get the build and wicking right - but once you do its a satisfying vape.

What size/type of wire are you using?
Lately I'm using SS316 26gax2/36ga, 2.5mm ID coil, 6 wraps .26 ohms. With my current juice (fizzie lemonade) I'm using it in TC 40w at 455 degrees. This juice really tastes better to me when it's cooler and this setup is really making the flavor pop. Previously I used a similar build but with a 3mm ID.

Got my Zeus today... I found it easy to build and wick. I used some 26g SS wire, 8 wraps, 0,5 ohm.
I vape it at 40 Watts and even though the first 10-15 puffs were amazing, suddenly the flavor became kinda mute... Like I am vaping a very inferior version of what it used to be, if that makes any sense.

I am gonna try some other builds... I am aligning the coil so it gets air from both above and the side.
I can see bubbles, it is wicking properly... But the taste disappeared for some reason...

Did you try lowering watts and adjusting af? I'm guessing the coil got too hot. If you don't give ss time to cool down you need to lower watts to maintain flavor.

This is exactly what happened to me (see my post above) - but my new .8 build with clapton is so much better - I think it's a pretty unforgiving tank and takes some patience to find something you like to work with it, but when you do it's very rewarding - it's a nice looking tank (I've got the gunmetal one), solid and leakproof - it's all down to personal preference but the vape that it gives me now is just what I was after.

For me its my taste buds that usually go mute after vaping the same ejuice for a while. That is why I switch flavors constantly and have 7 devices/flavors in my rotation.:)
I wish I could find more flavors that I like. I've been using the same 2 liquids for 7 years and one of them stopped selling theirs. The search for another is costing big $$$. They are tobacco flavors but they really don't taste like tobacco.

Have you thought about mixing your own flavors? I generally spend around $3/60ml for all of my juice. And I have about 10 different juices in rotation. My newest one is an apple fritter that I am trying to perfect.

This is a copy of an email I sent to a guy that was working on my house, and he said he was spending $150-200/month on juice. I told him that between my wife and I, we were spending less than $36/month.

You will need a scale, bottles, and ingredients

The scale needs to be a 0.01g scale:
https://www.amazon.com/GDEALER-Digi...1516637810&sr=8-4&keywords=digital+scale+.01g

Bottles - You are going to want different sizes. But I suggest a few 10ml for test mixes that you do, 60-120ml ones for your different flavors that you like.

10ml:
https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Drop...16639161&sr=1-14&keywords=10ml+bottle+dropper

60ml
https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Drop...161&sr=1-14&keywords=10ml+bottle+dropper&th=1

120ml
https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-sque...-1-catcorr&keywords=120ml+bottle+dropper+ldpe

Vegetable Glycerin - This is going to be most of what you put into the juice. Check your recipes, but when you are mixing you can figure out exactly what you want for VG/PG
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004C7MTLA/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I12F0SW9AFLF7A&colid=VQJOD2SEFI3N&psc=0

Propylene Glycol - Again, this is just a filler and you will use a lot less of this than you will the VG.
https://www.amazon.com/Propylene-Gl...rd_wg=0Mlvo&psc=1&refRID=Q2HNP12FXB6XJGV07YXQ

Nicotine: - Get this at 100mg, 4oz bottle, in PG. It will last you 6-12 months of mixing
USP Grade Nicotine

Flavors: - This is in Durham, and they have local pickup if you ask them. Shipping is fairly cheap though if you want to just have it delivered. They also have flavor packs, where they send you all of the flavors to mix a certain juice.

Here is a recipe site to get ideas.

Here are my favorites.

Be aware that when you mix, you need to let the juice steep for 1-4 weeks to get the best flavor. And a lot of what you are paying for in the store is steep time.

Most of the recipes that you make will cost you between $2-3 per 60ml. But it isn't just the savings that you get from making your own, it is knowing exactly what you are putting in your body.

Hope you have fun with this, and if you have any questions, I can answer them for you, or you can stop over and I can show you how to mix some of this stuff up.

Seems to me the flavor is better when tank is topped off and diminishes as tank empties. I think others have said the same, if I'm not mistaken.
I find that. I believe it is because the juice keeps the coil cooler when tank is full.

Been trying it for about 2 years now. I just can't find the correct tobacco flavor. It's been over 7 years of vaping and I have only liked 3 different store bought liquids. I am very picky when it comes to these liquids.

PM Beamslider about tobaccos. He can lead you other tobacco lovers too. I'm guessing that you aren't crazy about dessert tobaccos. Those are easy.

Thanks for your help and No not at all for desserts. I dislike desserts, fruits, candy etc. I only vape tobacco.
