so, as the topic says.

this thing will never fail ... it will leak no matter what you do when put on its side.

it happened with a friends gemini and we thought he did something wrong.
so we blamed it on him.
we rewicked it - having the cotton just barely entering the juice holes using .... cotton.

i decided to go home and take mine out of its box and do the same thing.

voila.

absolutely same results on mine as well.

sadly there arent my reports of this. i guess people like the griffin more. (which i also have but havent tried this problem on)

the picture thats attached. this is the result of 30 seconds on its side sitting on a napkin.
longer time = longer leakage.

Why would you be surprised that a tank leaks when laid on it's side????
because this friend of mine who had this problem originally had a subtank mini and always would put it in any way possible and it wouldnt leak.
how would a new generation rta that does a splendid job in air flow and clouds/taste have such a problem?

Most tanks will leak when you lay them down.
My griffin doesnt, neither do/did my orchid, billow, billow v2, griffin, mutation mt rta, hastur rdta serpent, bachelor and many others when wicked correctly.

I also could not get my gemini not to leak.

i gave up on this thing literally and switched to using my griffin. i really wish theres a fix.

what i did notice compared to the griffin is the o'rings are thin on the gemini.
heck, i had a friend completely garbage it and went with a smok rta-g2 and doesnt use this gemini anymore

could that be it though? the o'rings are just too thin?
if you notice the o'rings on the griffin are much thicker.

Most of my RTAs never leak unless I dont set it up right or if the temp goes way up..

I do adjust the amount of wick material to the time of year. Summer of course more , cold weather less.

Only Genesis tanks will leak on its side due to design. Some newer Genesis have even fixed that.

Either the orings are worn, tank was filled improperly ( usually too much) or not enough wick material.
One thing is that most new Sub-ohms are designed around cloud chasers which typically use very high to all VG liquid. Thinner ones might leak because in order to keep up with high wattage, the juice channels are larger.

Just a thought.
