I got the best news yesterday!! I am heading to Long Island (Huntington) in September!! My sister is getting married and I didn't think that I was going to be able to go but my hubby took the time off work so he can keep the kiddos and I get to go!!! That was my birthday present! I am SO excited!! I am not sure how much time I have or how far I will be from you guys (Tone, Fenez, Spikey...) but if I have time, I would love to get together. Even if it is for an hour. I will be there 9/10-9/13. I am thinking that Friday (9/10) I may have some time in the evening. I may still be a few hours away and that will suck! lol I can tell you guys where I am staying through PM, I don't really want to announce that here

I am so excited! I really hope I can get together with them. The rehersal dinner is on Friday night and since I am not in the wedding, I shouldn't have to go!

I ended up coming to work. I hate being responsible sometimes.
It's not an issue with leave time, I never use it and have plenty of time banked..... three weeks vacation and almost four weeks in accumilated sick and personal. I'm salary so the few hours I didn't work this morning wont matter. Plus, I'll still get 7 hours of work in before I leave today.
Oh.. and the boss got here after me so he doesn't even know I was late.
