Hey what's up? Found this forum today after researching all that I've been missing in my vaping experience. I've never smoked, in fact, I've never really done any other forms of tobacco; despite my predisposition due to nicotine running through the family blood. I discovered that I'm personally not very fond of strong nicotine buzzes after trying chew and dip and various other things people have had me try. While I think certain chews had great flavor, it was too much nicotine and I didn't want to do it anymore so after about a month or so of dipping/chewing with friends, I stopped cold turkey out of disinterest.

Then, after trying cigars (which I loved due to flavor and lack of significant health effects when used in moderation), my stepbrother introduced me to e-cigs. I did my research and all the scholarly articles turned out even more positive in terms of health than Cigars. And vapes tasted fantastic!

So, for a year and a half I've been using Blu Premium 100's blissfully unaware of what I've been missing. I'm not too familiar with the new set of vocab that's thrown about here but I'm getting the hang of it and I've read pretty much the whole FAQ in its entirety so I'm hoping to get off on the right foot here and figure out what's best for me.

I'd love it if there were some resources that really explained in simplicity how these mods and everything work! I've been watching some Grimm Green on youtube to help out with that and it's been beneficial.

I've been vaping for about a year and a half or so, never smoked, and plan to do so for as long as vaping is a thing. Looking into getting an AVP (huge variably controllable vapes right?) but I have no idea where to look. The BIGGEST issue for me is the reliability of the seller/company that produces the item. And seeing as I have no experience past blu, I have no idea who's credible (and as you can imagine, the absolutely massive list of affiliate sites on the FAQ was a bit overwhelming).

So, where do I get started? :)

Hello and welcome, now get ready for the "' I don't condone non smokers to start vaping" posts. I would suggest to take the traditional next step which would be to get something like an Ego twist battery and a Mini Vivi Nova or CE5 clearomizer, then you can see what you do and don't like about it in preperation for getting a more costly mod if you choose to go that route.

Welcome to the forum, best place to be to become more knowledgeable about the world of Vape. If you think Blu is kewl, put on your seat belts, cause you are at the beginning of the voyage to vapedom. Get your post count to 5 or more, and then you can post in other sections of the forum. Be sure to check out the general e-cig section. Great info to be had there.

Any question, post and you'll get more answers then you care for. lol, different ones too. Just make sure to thoroughly research and check out everything before making a purchase, and get what you want and don't settle for less.

Have fun, good luck!

Vape long and prosper!!

edit: No worries , everyone has their opinion and the mod's will spank those that get out of line.

edit 2: Jeez and ex-smokers turned vapers are the worst of the lot. roflmfao.

Welcome, I've had some fun with sts9 in Athens. I was going to comment on the non-smoking argument..lol I remembered to refresh since I started typing a lengthy list of recommendations. Just do you! and I'll do me..right? No sense in getting worked up about someone else. Regulation will happen eventually.. someone like you is just a potential piggy bank for taxes and so forth.. I guess I am talking about the government making logical choices..

I can understand both sides. I'm kind of in the middle ground. I really could have just stopped smoking cigarettes without vaping.

Just PM if you want a list of the more expensive things. You may just want to get out of this thread to help people forget if you stick around;)..

I am new and know nothing....literally, but just for the sake of the non-smoker going to vaping argument. If you just love the taste and the clouds you can get juice with 0mg of nicotine and vape your face off without getting bit by the nic bug!! :p

I am sure that was your intention....right :D

Almost...

Peculiar thing is, I have no craving for nicotine. Never did and still don't. Varying levels of nicotine were only for the purpose of the flavor; I guess it make sense to point out that I discovered that vanilla blu carts tastes like milky water with no nicotine and the high nic vanilla carts tasted like harsh spices and fire. Naturally I chose medium. So my decisions on nicotine content thus far have been only flavor related, but there's a limit to how much nicotine I can handle. I don't get buzzes from e-cigs normally, which I like, but when I do I hate it, and any cartridge with too much is not doable for me. Even a little nic buzz makes me feel terrible for some reason. Flavor is absolutely paramount which is the reason I'm moving on from blu since the only two cartridges I even like to smoke have been cherry and pina-coloda. Well, that and I didn't really know there was so much cool stuff out there you could do to make e-cigs much more flavorful. I'm quite excited.

I'd imagine you'd need to go zero nic or close to it, especially if your going to get a bigger mod, and if you decide on an RBA ( rebuildable atomizer), even the more so. I always get a quick nic buzz when firing up a new coil on a RBA.

Yeah, I purchased a sampler at avg. nic level from Five Pawns so that will be a good litmus test of where the golden zone is.
