I am going to get strung up for this but WTF..

What has Raidy got to do with it? I know it's 'his' idea to use them for this application but stainless mesh wicks in other applications predate genesis, it wasn't entirely conceived by Raidy. He is a talented modder and I do admire the man but IMO it's about time he either shows us a patent or backs down a little on his 'moral' stranglehold on stainless mesh wicks.

Organising a build is bloody hard work, I am of the opinion that those that are willing to take this on should be financially rewarded. Upkeeping a "not for profit" stranglehold on the concept is depriving us of the work of some very talented people as well as some potential advances and IMO that's not benefiting any vaper.

Just an alternative viewpoint.

Please if someone can remove this person from this thread, he is insulting me with no reason.
He does not have any reason to write things like this becouse i did not lie and steal from nobody.
This is insulting to me and my friends in Croatia who are trying to move vaping scene forward.
We have 30 croatian members who are vaping for over a year that are on the list for the Line.
So what are they, also a victims of our fraud. You and your friend who talked you into this stepped over the line of good taste and normal behaviour.

i pretty much agree. Its not like its costs $250 and anyone is gonna be able to take early retirement off of the profit from 150 attys. I have no problem paying the $80, do i wish it was cheaper? OF COURSE but a lot of work goes into this. How much profit can honestly be made selling them for $80. When you factor in time to design and assemble and process all the orders it seems to me like any profit would actually be more like compensation for all the time that goes into it. Just like i dont PROFIT from the 40 hours a week i work, its more like an even trade

Just my $.02

You are right. This got nothing to do with Raidy because you didn't ask Raidy for his approval :)
I can't ask you nothing on croatian e-cig forum because there is epidemic about bunch of money who you will take from ecf users and most of you are infected and do not accept any different opinion.
Jealousy ? For what? Laying people, stealing ideas?
No, I'm not jealousy I'm talking from my own experience with same "modder" whos atty you sell here.

Del isn't selling anything, you sound like your trolling looking to cause upset and discord. Nobody needs anybodys approval to use mesh in a rebuildable atty. Looks like you will be going after Imeo next because we use mesh in the Iatty. Might as well throw the Bulli in there too. Mesh

Del is doing all of us on ECF a big favor helping us to get these. He is not selling anything.

It is obviously what this guy came here! But man what a nerv from him?!
What is 80 bucks this days? I mean I spend that much on drinks when I go out...
when you pay for materials and turner and engraving, everybody will get drip tips, some kantal and mesh as I understand...
and what you got left?! Probably few bucks from each and knowing these guys, they will invest it in some other project!

I wasn't saying I think Del and Van are profiting from this. I was saying I think they should be, as should anyone who takes this kind of thing on. Anybody who thinks they can enforce an non-profit world and still have nice stuff made for them in perpetuity is living on another planet.

Time is money, to invest it in a project similar to this costs whoever is doing it as invariably it's time that could be better spent elsewhere. We have had some very altruistic folks around taking things like this on and we have all benefited but it can't continue indefinitely, the altruism will dry up.

To those that have completed similar projects on a non-profit or close to non-profit basis I salute you and in this I include Van and Del, those that do nothing but moan and ..... about "Raidy's permission" "has to be without profit and you have to be able to prove it" etc need a reality check as it cannot continue.

We are all selling, marketing, beta testing, promoting, trying new stuff, moving to other vendors, selling in the classified...without us there would be no community, without us there would be no tanks, bottom feeders, rebuildable atties, without us we would all be still smoking......The suppliers on this forum can have a good life if they do what we tell them to do!!!

Win-Win :p :vapor:

I had no idea what you were talking about with the bee in bonnet, to be totally honest, the visual that came to me was a bee wearing a little bonnet lol. I looked it up though and I understand now :)

I sometimes forget we don't necessarily share all phrases and terms
