Found it. Shapolin posted this ...

Line has very little space for making a kanthal - mesh setup.
That is why Van went with silver wire and not with screws. On V1 silver is to soft.
It is working ok but it could be better.
So in the V2 he is going with hard silver wire (18G, 99.999%).

So it's 18 gauge wire.

PTFE Tubing like this would probably work very well.

Haven't gotten a Line yet, but quick question for those in the know...

Any problems with the Plexi cracking from certain liquids...? I know poly can be a bit finicky, but any thoughts on needs to be careful with the plexi with citrus / acidic liquids would be appreciated.

Yes, some liquids will crack the tank on Line V1, V2, the alternative (if u use some of the liquids that crack Poly - Plexy tanks) is the Line SS (the tank is stainless steel, no windows to see the liquid level in the tank).

Appreciate the response. I'm aware with Poly, just wasn't sure if the plexi was any different.

I already have a v2 in transit so just trying to get ahead of the curve. My other geni style atty has a quartz tank so this isn't something I've considered in a while...

Is the tank in the V1 / V2 user replaceable?

Not really, Dan created a thread long time ago that shows how to disassemble the Line (V1) to fix leaks, it will give you an Idea, I think is better to send it back for repair (tank replacement), you can find more info on:

Or much better get a Line SS :)
