I've never tried a Genesis style atty and was considering looking to try one out. I'd like some recommendations if you folks have any. Preferably not something that will break the bank, at least to start. I've seen the RSST, but have never used one.

What say you Evic folks? Anyone running a genesis style?

Thanks!

T.J.

Not much luck with my RSST on the eVic. takes to much to run the ss wick setup.

I would consider an Ithaka if I could get hold of a flat top cap reasonable. Not planning on paying $10 plus shipping for a $4 piece.
Would likely have to be run in single coil mode or a pair of 2.8ohm coils and peg the output.

I recently received an IGO-W to try a low-cost rebuildable on my eVic before getting an RSST. Glad I did. I now know why the eVic needs greater power limits for custom coil atty's.

I got it to work after a couple trial builds, but after considering the mess, expense, workspace required, and time in general, I think I'm sticking with my Vapeonly BCC and ECA atty's for a bit longer before I go nuts on a mech and rebuildable atty.

I used to run my Aga-T2 on my eVic... That was the only setup where I took the eVic close to its limit. I vaped the thinf at 10.5W, 28AWG kanthal, 12 wraps (tightly wound around 3mm drill bit), a microcoil-like setup, silica u-wick config.

I found 10.5W to be the upper limit of my wicking...

The Aga-T2 now sits on top of my Provari, since I started doing cotton wick (more like a sponge since the cotton never extends down into the tank), vertical style, with one fill hole open (essentially soaking the cotton nub placed inside the coil which is directly over the wick hole)

Try the Aga-T2, it's a great glass rba. I gave up on SS mesh but I may one day come back to it... For now, there's no reason to with the cotton setup...

i'm running the RSST on my eVic.
3/4 coils of 32AWG kanthal A1 at 1.9 ohm. built it up on the first try and spent one or two minutes ironing out hot spots. coils glow evenly and the cloud production is so much better than my basic vCore clearomizer.

no problems so far. vape experience is great. go watch some youtube videos on the RSST. i watched a bunch before i put down my cash. rebuilding tutorials will help a lot; i just sat in front of my PC and watched the videos as i built it up.

I'm running an RSST on my eVic with SS wick, and I love it. The best part about the eVic is the RVV and RVW settings that are set up through the MVR software.

If you run any kind of genesis or rebuildable, you have to play around with those two settings! The only thing I would change is maybe getting a 3400+ mah battery.
