I got a DID in and was SUPER excited! I built the wick (beautifully I might add) wrapped the wick with 32 gauge nichrome wire, and hooked it to my Natural with an 18350 batt and no kick. It glows for about 1 sec then "breaks". So what am I to do but try, try again......and again....and again (you get the point) Ive done around 30 and same thing everytime. Do i need a bigger gauge wire, maybe a different kind? Wrapped the wick 3 times and also 4 times. my mods (Tesla, Provari, Vamo) will not give a resistance. I am doing what they show online.... I think. I oxidize the wick 3 times before I install it, and I do the whole juice burn 10 times just to be safe. the whole wire does turn red before it breaks. Any thoughts?

When you test it with your multimeter, the ohms figure may give you a clue. Start with a wick that gives a resistance of 2 ohms. That will tell you how many wraps to use if you want a 'hotter' one.

Also check the resistance when it is wet, and after some usage time. You don't tell us what resistance the coils are, and this is the main piece of info we need. Also what kind of wick, what sort of liquid.

Some wire is so thin that it needs no-resistance feed-in wire, and such thin wire gauge may not be as practical as thicker wire used with less wraps. It basically sounds as if you need more wraps. It's hard to work out what the problem is without a multimeter.
