Hey, I'm kind of new to the whole e-cig culture, so bear with me on this. What categorizes something as a Genesis? Is Genesis a brand or a style? And is it just a dripper? Thanks in advance -Matt
I personally love genny's I have 3 two kraken and a sat! I use ... cotton for the love of my lord and savior just can't get mesh to work but I love them so!
They were very popular at one time and some people still love them. They can be tricky to get the wicking correct particularly if you use cotton, but they produce an excellent vape in my opinion.
If you take the time to learn how to properly set one up with SS mesh you won't be happy using anything else. Genesis is all I use and I've tried numerous devices. If you decide to give one a try go with a RSST single coil, by far the easiest to learn on.
On somewhat of a different topic, do drippers REALLY provide a better vaping experience? It just seems too complicated and I'm happy with my tank. Really the only thing I plan on doing, is buying a tank that's bigger.
for some people, yes they do. Better flavor and vapor produced by dripping juice directly to the coil. The experience is NOT as good if you find the constant need to drip to be a PITA.
For some flavors the dripper is better than the genny, and for others the genny than the dripper. They all have their place, IMO. I do fruits and tobaccos on SS mesh in my genny, desserts and sweet vapes in my tanks, and more in-your-face flavors that lend themselves well to high-wattage vaping (like Bombies) in my dripper.
Liquids give slightly different flavours depending on the media they are being vaped on.
Some lend themselves to cotton/silica others to mesh.
Are drippers better ? Completely subjective. Can't be doing with them myself unless on a bottom feeder mod even then usually with mesh rather than cotton to get some flavour out of them compared to geny's but others prefer to vape that way so who am I to say. If it works for you it works for you. If using cotton would rather use a Rose or KayFun.
