Woo hoo! Im glad this finally went to production.

Debb, scubadan has a youtube video about rolling the mesh.

I may buy some more mesh too, as I've used some on my torpedo tanks already ..... & I'm gonna need it for this co-op, fender's & scubadan's.

Let me know & maybe we can order together. ;)

Uwe, are those good representations?
Any update on the box Kronos amounts and how many more needed before batch closes?

I'd also help where I can.
You've been a great help to me.
Isn't a MKII a "dse 905?

This is why I love being a part of this forum! Thanks for offering to help! I think I may have a way out...but will just have to sacrifice one genisis. I can replace my MKII for really cheap right now wih the sale they have going on...like 35 bucks. So instead of Kronos and 2 genisis....I should be able to get the RCA Kronos and genisis....since I'm not planning on taking this out much...and my other tanks are to large to use on it so no real need for the 510. :)

Trying to do the figuring now on the funds to see what I will need.....

I would be happy to help you out man. I have a few things I could loan you or trade you. Shoot me a PM. I hate the idea that you wont be able to get one of these. Jut let me know what you are looking for and what your usual routine is.

Just to make things clear:
Ready assembled means that all parts are assembled. Kanthal and Mesh are not included.
It would be a hell of work to roll some hundreds rolls of mesh, scroll Kanthal around it and fasten it.

where can I learn how to do this? any links...checked out scubadans vids, btw..:)

I'm really hoping that there will be instructions included when it arrives! :)

Assembly is very simple - simply screw together - as shown in Raidy's pic below - you have the base, the atty chamber, the bottle, and then the top with mouth piece.

There are several Genesis threads (e.g. Jensb's Some homemade attys and genesis) and Raidy's thread which will acquaint you with the atty setup. Wrapping the coil is more simply put - wrap the Kanthal around lower screw, tighten screw, wrap around the wick, wrap around the upper screw, tighten the screw. When you do it once, you will find it to be very simple.

(btw - I added the o-ring info so I could keep it straight)
