I have never had any trouble with darker juices clogging my Carto's. I put some sweetener in my Tastyfinger and sure enough it is clogging my Carto. I may have added too much. Anyone else notice clogging problems with added sweetener?

Yup, it just comes with the territory. I can usually get 5ml of TV sweetened, dark liquids through my cartos before I have to give them a thorough washing.

A drop or two of "high octane" alcohol I think would clear this problem up easily. If you can get your hands on some 151 proof, that should clear it out. Might make the atty run a little hotter for a little bit, but that shouldn't be a problem unless you add too much. Add moderately.

Note: NEVER use rubbing alcohol with your equipment. Good way to poison yourself.

I have never attempted to clean a Carto. I buy them for a buck a piece and toss them, but I may have to start cleaning them. What is a good cleaning method for Cartos?

Will this work with Carto's too?

I wouldn't go dripping 151+ proof in your cartos, no. There are lots of cleaning methods out there to make them as good as new. I rinse them thoroughly, run some vodka through them, rinse again, let dry for a day. Usually after that I'm good to go. Geoff's waffles and bananas fosters kick the crap out of all of my cartos except for my modded CE2s. If I didn't clean them, I'd go broke buying more.

Thanks You!! I usually buy 100 at a time and I could get a good week out of 1, but I always have 5 different flavors of cartos going in any given week, so after a while it does get expensive. I will attempt to clean a few and give it a shot. I would love to save a few bucks.

I may just start avoiding sweetener. I never had a problem before I started adding it to my juices.
