gepetto classic - poplar burl

it`s a vv box mod made of poplar burl-beautiful and very light wood
it runs on two aw imr 18350 batteries
i`ve made the connector a bit recessed and now it`s sitting in a 23 mm diameter "well", to make the mod look more composed with any attie.
Box has got ss button and copper battery contacts,
small stand included

box is coated natural wax
the wax protects the wood and makes it resistant to elements while making it more comfortable to hold. It will need to be wiped with a cotton cloth from time to time and it would be good to apply some wax on it once a month or so

specifications for electronic components

main features:
* operated with one button.
* 2 digit, 7 segment, yellow, 5mm led display
* powered by 2 stacked li-ion batteries
* works with 1.0 to 5.0 ohm coils
* 3,0v to 6,0v regulated, in 0,1v increments.
* displays current power left with load and w/o load.
* shorted coil indicator.
*coil pre-heating function. Might come in handy on cold days or when we`re using thicker e-liquids.
How to use it ?
When we insert the batteries the module is ready to work. We use the single button.
* if we have not used the switch for the last 3-4s, module goes into ‘sleep’ mode. Led display is powered down to save battery life.
* normal press – coil is powered up as long as we press the button. Led shows battery voltage under load. Shortly after we release the button, voltage w/o load is displayed. If we compare these two numbers we can see how good our batteries are and we can work out their internal resistance.
* two clicks – coil is pre-heating. Ph will be displayed on our led. This will heat the coil with ~35% of preset voltage. Pre-heating will finish after 4s and the device will go back to sleep mode. We can press the button at any time during the pre-heating process to end it and start vaping using our set parameters.
* three clicks – voltage increase mode. Each following click will increase voltage in 0.1v increments. When we set the desired voltage, we need to wait 3-4s for the device to save our settings.
*four clicks – voltage decrease mode. Each following click will decrease voltage in 0.1v increments. When we set the desired voltage, we need to wait 3-4s for the device to save our settings.
* five clicks – mode select:
O a1 – normal setting, just as with any other device
o a2 – voltage will rise from 0.0v to preset voltage over the next 2s.
O a3 – voltage increases to 120% of what we`ve set the device to for 2s and later goes back to preset value.
O a4 – voltage will change fluently from preset value to 120% of preset and back in 2s intervals as long as we keep the button pressed.

So ... I`ve been getting some new equipment and I`ve decided to try something new - Gepetto tuBBy (if you guys like it) will be one of my new products - at the moment I have one made from a single piece of wood, with a flush connector (stainless steel button, just like always), SS bottom cap and brass contacts for better conductivity. This one takes one 18500 battery, but I have some 18350 models in the works :)

Pawel! What Did I say about you showing other people the mods that you made for me?

Will you be making any 18650 and 26650 also?
