My thoughts don't travel from my brain to my fingers very well. I generally think to far ahead of what I want to say and then when I try to type it, it comes out all messed up, but I'll try and have this make sense.

Hi. My name is Doug. I'm 38, married for almost 6 years and a born again pagan. Actually I don't practice any religion. I was born and raised in the christian religion but walked away from it. I find peace and understanding in nature and since most pagan religions are about nature I consider myself a pagan. I'm a self-employed 3rd generation house painter. Work has been rather slow the past few years since the economy took a nose dive. Ran into quite a bit of financial difficulty this year. My wife and I started vaping end of July. We saw a mall kiosk that sells e-cigs $30 for a starter kit containing 1 batt, an atomizer and 5 carts. My wife was more interested in it then I was. Over the course of the next week she kept saying she wanted to try it. I started to do some research on them and found ECF. There was so much info here that it made my head hurt. I drove to the mall and bought 2 starter kits. My wife quit the same day and I cut down to 1/2 a pack. I continued to read the info on ECF and ordered an ego kit and some good juice a couple of days later. That did it for me. I was hooked on e-cigs. Now I'm more into then my wife. LOL

I've always been a shy person. I hate it! I tried breaking out of it several years ago with partial success, which wasn't easy. I still struggle with it on a daily basis. Because of my shyness I tend to be a difficult person to know. Sometimes I try to hard to become friends with someone and it fails. I've had so called friends in the past that took advantage of my generosity and it kind of shut me down and made me a bit distrusting of new people. I've been trying to get back to the way I was which is why I joined PIF. I haven't been too active in the group. I hope to be more active in the future. It's just going to take me some time.

haha Doug, I couldn't help but laugh when I read your username....I went through a Whoopie phase a while back and that is one of her favorite "catchy" lines...I ended up saying that a few times while visiting with my parents who have a parrot...they live in an apartment attached to our home. Every once in a while I hear him hollering, "What the hell!" Needless to say, it's not so funny when my parents have visitors .
I appreciate your effort in sharing with us all ~ Lanette

Wow, cool. Love reading about everyone.

Hi, I'm Cassie. ((Hi Cassie.))

I'm 21, a writer who doesn't get as much work as she'd like, I live in Minneapolis, and I like cats. I traveled abroad, alone, for several years. And I think I did my whole 20's, as well as all the social time I will ever need for the rest of my life, in those few years. I did a lot, I partied a lot, all that crap.

Now-a-days, I like having a quiet life. I write, read, sew, drink coffee, play with my cat, vape, and apparently now make videos as well. Sometimes I get really ambitious and hang out with more than one person at a time. I'm way more boring than people seem to think I am.

I'm an eccentric (nuts) and sometimes I'm hard to follow. The people who stay close to me are the ones who understand what I'm saying when I don't make any sense.

I do have a, er, "boy"friend (I hate that word - I don't date boys, I'm not *that* weird). He's a quiet eccentric who likes cats as well. Sometimes I just make a funny face to communicate an hour-long diatribe of information, and he gets it. I like that.

I smoked 30 a day, and my Kr8 got me completely off cigs the first day. It's still my favorite, although I now own and use 510's and 901's as well. I spend a lot of time tinkering with my PV-related stuff. It takes the place of the nervous twitch of rolling my own cigarettes.

Smoking was almost like a ritual of writing to me. Sometimes I still miss that. I get my worst cravings when I write. It's passing, slowly.

Basically, I'm a slightly reclusive creative type. And if I were making more money at it, I'd be happy as a clam. As it stands, I'm about as happy as a seahorse.

Hy, It's an e-cig mod that I made.

So It's not a particular brand? You made it? Looks pretty awesome. I've wondered about dabbling in some unique mods but I'm really not sure I can do it. I think about converting certain items, like a pc mouse... but if I do, I want the mouse buttons or center wheel to still work as the switch. If it isn't going to turn out authentic, I'm not sure I would consider it a success. I think I'll zip over the mod section and see If I can get some advice. Yours is really great looking.

edit: sorry for diverting off topic.

Thanks Lanette! I got fed up trying to find a user name for ECF that wasn't already taken. I said it then typed it in and it was available. It's also what I said about trying e-cigs. LOL

That's a pretty mod...would love to see a close up pic :).

Concept photos. I noticed that if the wheel was at the bottom, it fit perfectly into the palm and could be activated by just a little pressure. Or if at the top, just the touch of a finger. And it's a wireless so it charges 2 AA rechargable batteries with a usb connector.

not sure the photo insert is working but here's to trying....

I can see his hair stainding up during the charge.

yeah, I'm kind of like that. I like to take common things and convert them into something else. I use a converted specialty Zippo lighter to hold my mini-altoids in my pocket. People wonder what the heck I'm doin' when I pull out the lighter in church or in a business meeting. I get some strange looks. I've also thought about converting a small kaleidascope into a mod as well.

Great Thread! :)

My name is Jeremy and I live in Orlando with wife of 9 years, 4yo son and 7 mo old daughter. I will be 35 next month and had smoked since I was 13. The first day I received my V4L starter kit was the last day I had a cigarette. That was a little over 2 months ago...so I am also fairly new here. I own a Graphic Design and printing company which I started 2 and a half years ago. When not working, I enjoy spending time with the family, playing cards, hanging out with friends, watching the Orlando Magic and Florida Gators and visiting ECF. :)
