See, now this would solve a lot of issues.

Um...that would be wasteful and my gallons of juice and juice ingredients wouldn't last me the years they're supposed to.

I have serious juice buying issues here....lol

Well, if it makes you feel any better....tonight I filled a fresh carto. A couple of hours later, I think I was having an allergic reaction to the juice, so the carto and the juice ended up in the garbage.

ETA: Which is cheaper - DIY stuff or a carto?

Try SS cable rope with a mesh top, last forever.

You realize that this isn't actually related to my carto issue, right?

I just wanted to know if there was a way to easily loosen the vape in what I've got on my device....lol

If I wanted to wrap coils and get into tech stuff right now I'd coil up my Cobra and use that.

Thanks, though.

I'm sure you've pointed this out several times before but I wasn't paying attention. Slap me with a ruler.

As pointed out earlier, some juices require more frequent carto changes than others. I can go 2 - 3 weeks with a clear menthol or fruit flavor before the carto needs to be replaced. My darker coffee flavors or my cinnamon flavors may go only a few days before they need to be replaced.

I figure I spent up to $6 a day on cigarettes and thought nothing about the cost. Spending $2 on a carto that will last at least a few days seems like a bargain by comparison, and keeps me off of the smokes.

Okay, here is an update to my adventures in cartomizers.....

Found the Ikenvapes. Alas, they are only standard size where I thought I'd purchased the megas and they are not flanged which I prefer. After a little unforeseen mess from dealing with something that doesn't stop when you push it through, I've managed to dilute the contents of my other tank a bit, prime a new Ikenvape carto, jam it into a (now ridiculously silly-looking) standard sized tank - it's funny how much smaller and inadequate tanks can look when using something larger for a time, don't you think? - and I've washed out the XL tank. Now IT sits waiting for my precious XL cartomizers to come in....Smok first because that's what's out there, and I've put in to have myself notified when the mega Ikenvapes that I want are back in stock.

*sigh*

Life is so difficult in a first world bedroom in first world country. All this....hassle. My poor, delicate self will be scarred for life, I'm sure.

At least I learned a couple of things, though. That has to count for something.

While flanges definitely prevent easy changing of a cartomizer they help idiot-proof cartotank usage.

Couldn't find Boges to my specs. It's actually somewhat of a challenge to find the 3 ohm 2 hole flanged xl as it is in any brand (yes, I know they exist - they just aren't as widely available as lesser resistance cartos).

I read somewhere around here yesterday that the Ikenvapes would be available within a week. Please save some for me. :p I am almost out and missed it last time.

From my experiences with cartomizers, albeit it short and not too fruitful, they seem to vary greatly from cartomizer to cartomizer. This includes the "higher end" cartomizers I've tried. I haven't read any posts in here [I'm way too lazy], but 100% VG juices would probably benefit greatly in a cartomizer if you slot them using a dremel. If using a dremel isn't your thing, you can always use a carto puncher to punch a bunch of holes in one.

Also, if rebuilding is in your near or far future, and you really like the form factor of a carto tank system, you should look into picking up a Diver or Sofia. You need to fiddle with resistance and no resistance wire, but you can always pick up ready made coils with varying resistances from a number of vendors for cheap. I use organic cotton balls in my Divers and Sofia, and the vape is amazing.

Cheers,

Rebuilding is in my past AND future. This is just about my carto being a pissant today.

EvilZoe, your post is the reason I still drip into an old fashioned 510 atty. I am in control and not the juice or the carto. I truly feel for you here. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

By the way, I enjoy following your antics. Carry on.
I was dripping tonight, too. I still do it occasionally but it's not practical for when I'm running around doing other things.
