I have had my pro tank about ten days(use it daily 2 ml per day) and just noticed that the draw is tighter. I use a 50/50 mix of e juice. On occasion I am also getting a burnt taste. I only use ego type 650 pottery. I have cleaned and dried it with warm water but still same problem. Could it be time to change the coil already, or am I doing something wrong?

Dry burn the coil.

Take off bottom piece of your rinsed Pro Tank. Now pull off the center pole piece with round plastic grommet on it.

Screw bottom Pro Tank base piece into your battery. Screw little atomizer (wick and coil) into base piece. Pulse power button on and off till you see wisps of smoke start and do this in short bursts (3 seconds or so) till the smoke stops. Once the smoke stops the coils should be glowing bright orange. Your coil will now be clean.

(don't forget to put the center pole piece back in when done , slide plastic grommet down back on top of the wicks)

Mix shmix, what type flavors are you running.
Bottom coil units tend to caramelize fluids in the lower area of the tank(wick area). Darker juices compound the issue. You probably have juice caked around the coil(Baked on)
Remove and rinse the coil assembly. Wiggle the pipe off. Remove the 2 flavor wicks. Using your battery, Pulse power to the coil 2-5 seconds at a time until you see it starting to glow orange(Not BRIGHT) Repeat the glow a few times to burn off any crud. Allow to cool for a few seconds and blow off the burnt juice. Repeat if needed. If juice ash is stuck, carefully scrape with a straight pin and blow off.

Reassemble and Vape

Guess I type to slow - lol

Lots of advice under the general PV forum, under tanks and under clearos.

Mostly, for 50/50 or higher VG, it's best to remove one of the inner wicks.
Thanks for the feed back I will try this, sorry I am still knew and tried looking there but nothing was straightforward enough in the title to lead me in the right direction with out reading them all.

Yeah, there are a lot of threads on the Protank. In just about every forum and subforum.
