If this is the wrong forum for my suggestion, please feel free to move.
Let's say the buttheads decide to "ban" our nicotine liquid. First of all, they (the FDA) can only regulate the nicotine, anything else is "aromatherapy" and you can purchase a number of "aromatherapy" type devices, which are marketed as such, that act in a similar way (look up the Volcano vaping device).
So the actual devices, if marketed as an aromatherapy device are not under jurisdiction by the FDA. It's only under FDA jurisdiction if the advertiser/retailer markets it as a "stop smoking device" and/or if the FDA steps in to regulate the nicotine. Nicotine free "aromatherapy sticks" can say "suck this FDA" all day long.
Now, getting vegetable glycerin is not a big deal. Getting some candy flavorings is not a big deal. And, getting pharmaceutical grade nicotine is not a big deal. You don't need tobacco products or extracts. The easiest way to do this, if you can't score a prescription from your doc for the nicorette inhalers is to ORDER THEM FROM A CANADIAN PHARMACY. This is perfectly legal, these inhalers are over the counter in canada, and probably will be over the counter here soon enough, I would guess.
I tried to quit smoking with the inhalers a while back and have a whole ****load of their pharm grade nicotine carts. It's simple, break one of those puppies open (use some tweezers, you don't want to touch this stuff) and soak it in a 15 ml bottle of veg glycerin overnight and a few drops of flavoring and you are 'ret to go. Soak two of those puppies if you need stronger nicotine. Each bare cart contains 10mgs of pharm grade nicotine.
You might be able to do something similar with patches, but I don't know. I tried my method the other day to use up all these inhaler carts i have and it works great!
1 real analog cig = 1mg of nicotine approx so one of these carts soaked in vg will equal something like 10-20 real cigs depending on your use.
I am not worried about these jerks at all. They can't ban aromatherapy devices. lol.
