I am pretty new to vaping, a couple of months now. I love it but I cant seem to find the right hardware setup for me. started with a few 808d batteries. I like them because they are low profile, small and easy to carry in purse or pocket. I like the convenience of cartomizers and they are great when they are new but most of them die after I try to clean them with hot water ( and yes, I dry them completely). I tried a top coil clearomizer and I love the amount of vapor and the taste seems better. Also I like being able to fill them with my own juice but if you lay it on its side or put it in your purse it gets leaky and I hate having to take the tip off and mess with it all the time. Also, I just got some juice from Pink Spot and they are great but had a horrible burning issue last night that I didn't have with any other juices. Made me gag, choke, cough, and spit! Can anyone recommend a product that is small and gives great vapor. I like the idea of the Tidy 10 from Innokin but I cant find anywhere that sells them. I don't need anything that holds a ton or lasts for 10 hours since I guess I am not really that heavy of a vaper. Thanks in advance for any advice you might have!

I really like my Joye eGo. I bought the kit and added the eGo Twist batteries. The kit has cartridges that you fill. Very easy and my Twist batteries last a very long time on a single charge. The Twist is a vv (variable voltage) that you turn up or down to get the right amount of heat for what you are vaping. Super simple fits easily in my purse without leaking anything (so far anyway) and it looks really cool but not huge. I just started vaping yesterday LOL but I love how easy this was to work!

I would check out the 808's on smokeless image called the volt. I have not used them but they are highly recommended on here by those that do. They also have clearos etc. I like the bigger batts that last all day. Welcome.
Well Kris, no matter what you get there will be some level of aggravation. But I think you know that. I've gone through many of the frustrations as you have (as many of us have). Try the Phoenix Bottom Coil from GotVapes. It's a small clearo. You use a syringe/needle to fill it but after a few tries at filling it is a piece of cake and is neat and clean. And disassembly and cleaning it is easy too. Never leaks. Here are a couple vids you might want to watch.

Why are you cleaning cartos? I use the same one for a week, and then use a new one...if you keep them wet (install a drip tip and top them off regularly) they go and go and go.
Have you looked into bottom feeders? Super simple, easy to use, and they just work. No tanks, no dry cartos, no dripping, no syringes- fill bottle, squeeze, vape, squeeze, repeat. They're a little more spendy, but they're about the most hassle free vaping experience out there IMHO.

What you will find is the more a batt looks like a cig generally the worse it performs. JMHO.
eGo Twist with a mini Vivi nova tank at 2.8ohm. I said that ohm rating because the twist is variable voltage...will allow you to fine tune your juice in.
For purse friendly set ups I like the reo mini bottom feeder or mini provari w/ a penelope (rebuildable). They are my favorites for "on the go" vaping.
I am starting to think this might be the answer. I have been avoiding the ego because it seems so big. We don't have a store that sells them so I can't physically see one. Only pics on a web site. Felt like they would draw attention when out and about.

+1 on the smokeless image. The CE3's rock, and Ive had no leakage issues with them. They also have a new clearomizer that just came out.
Not to mention the s....y little carrying case they have. It's very purse friendly & will catch anything that might leak!

My on the go unit is an Ego twist and some polypro 3 ml tanks, these don't leak for me. bnrk
I have 2 twists, one small and one large. The larger one can be a bit bulky at times, but the smaller one is pretty compact. I vape a lot and the smaller one lasts all day without a recharge. I would definitely get 2, though. Having 1 battery just doesn't cut it ever. As far as the delivery, I have the least trouble with the Nova tanks. Occasional mouth full of juice but no leakage at all as with the Stardust tanks. I also use Boge XXL cartos. They hold a lot of juice and taste pretty good. No leaks there either. Good luck.
I'm also fond of my Ego twist - I run 3 batteries because I can't always be charging one and it works out pretty well for me. I've tried both stardust clearomizers and the mini vivi nova & prefer the nova. Not the most compact but the smaller batteries (650 & 900) are both pocketable as needed.
I went with the Ego simply because I do the majority of my vaping on the go, and it seems to work really well for that for the last month I've been using it. I just fill the tank with about 2ml of juice and I'm good for hours of even heavy vaping.

It helped me a lot, and made me realize that going larger than a mini battery wan't really *big* at all.
If you prefer smaller then get a Volt
The first time I took it out in public, someone thought I was smoking a cigar LOL. It kind of looks more like a fat pen and find that if I think of it like that and what I would look like chewing on a pen, most people think that is what it is. It's funny how your perceptions can influence what others think.
