I have been having constant problems with the Smokeless Image Nano Clearomizer. I've gone through around 8 of them, and none of them seem to work for more than a few days. They'll work well the first time you fill them up - good vapor, good taste....OK, right on. At first, I was in love. "This is all I'm ever gonna use from now on!" But after refilling it a second time, they totally .... up. They make gurgling, clogged sounds and have a bubbling feeling when you draw on them; the draw becomes harder; you don't get as much vapor or taste; and you get a bitter aftertaste. You can try dripping the liquid out of them (wasting liquid in the process) and starting over, after blowing out the excess, but after an hour (at most...sometimes 15 minutes is enough) they'll start crapping out again. I've tried so many ....... things...washing them with hot water, swabbing out the inside with twisted up paper towel, blowing through them (pulling a muscle in my ....... adam's apple in the process), and drying them with a hair dryer. NOTHING WORKS. They inevitably start gurgling and bubbling and NOT producing vapor.

Oh yeah and they also leak out of the bottom seal between the metal ring and the plastic tank. Great.

I am so ....... unsatisfied with these things. NEVER AGAIN.

I've never used them, but they are cheap, and don't look like something I would expect to perform very well. Just in case you hadn't read the note on the website, though:

note: When filling avoid getting e-liquid in the center tube note: THE CAP MUST BE SCREWED ON WITHIN 40-60 SECONDS OF BEING FILLED TO AVOID LEAKAGE.

Oh, believe me, I read the warning and I heeded it. It didn't matter.

Is there another clearomizer that works better? I use the Volt 808.

I figured as much, but threw it out there just in case. Every delivery device I have uses 510 threads, except for the prefilled cartos I started with, but I use 808 to 510 adapters when I want to play with my old batteries.

Hopefully someone will come along with better advice.

The iTaste Tidy Cart, (which comes in 510 and 808 threading) works perfectly on my generic 808's. I will try it on my one Volt 808 later and report back.

EDIT: Yes, it works on the SI Volt KR808.

There's actually a thread in the KR808D-1 forum further down that is all about 808 clearomizers and people's experiences with them. Try looking through there.

Everyone has their own preferred clearomizer. And I agree, the Nano is pretty crappy, but some people love them.

I haven't had the same experience as the OP, and I've been using the SI nano clearomizers for over 2 months. Both on the Volt automatic and manual batteries plus the X2, as well as my latest purchase, an L-Rider Lambo V4 (with an adapter).

I've only had a few problems

1. I had one juice cloud the plastic, Applewood Tobacco from High Desert Vapes. I've used other citrus juices (orange creme, red, white and blue, key lime pie, all from HDV) without incident.

2. Hard pulls, but generally this happens towards the end of the clearos life, generally 2.5-3 weeks. They usually last longer for me than a carto does.

3. Leaking. But this only happened a few times on brand new clearos, and hasn't happened since I figured the proper way to fill them. I usually find myself filling them multiple times a day, and keep several flavors in my pocket to swap out as my mood changes.

I have had some sizzling/gurgling, but it's sometimes happens after I've just filled them, and goes away after a half dozen or so long puffs (i think it's excess liquid getting into the coil when you open it, hence the 40-60 second guideline). I also noticed that if they started pulling hard, that blowing them out made it worse. They're cheap enough (if you buy in bulk) that tossing one isn't that big of a deal.

I haven't been vaping for very long, but it sounds like the problem is the juice they're using. Is it particularly thin or anything? How are you filling them?

I find they leak terribly if you fill and let them sit (took a few times for me to figure that out). But if you fill them 1/3rd full, to slightly above the metal bit, way about five minutes until the juice soaks in, then vape until the juice is just above the holes. Then fill it to the top, and vape until the gurgling stops, that they'll work for you. I can post pics if you want.

Since I've been filling the nano clearomizers like that, they last 2-3 weeks, don't leak at all (like I said, I can keep them in my pocket without worry) and the flavor and vapor is nice and consistent. It really sucks that you've been having problems, they're really great little things when they work.

I tried them and thought they were a good idea..... at first. The problem is that they just do not work well for very long. There are so many better delivery systems out there. I ended up giving them away to more patient souls than mine.

Are you talking about the SI Nano clearomizer or the Innokin Tidy 10?
