Getting "immune" to Eliquid flavor after prolonged usage?

My wife and I are experiencing this lately.

I have been vamping earl grey flavor for close to a month and my wife have been vamping hami melon for clos to a month as well.
Last night I tasted no flavor at all from my earl grey flavored eliquid so I asked her to taste mine and she said that it tasted yummy to her and she also mentioned that the hami melon she was vamping is losing flavor as well but when I caped hers it tasted yummy.
Is this normal? Does your taste buds get "immune" to flavors after prolonged usage?

Yes. And in most cases, that's always the case. That's why some people go look for 2 different flavors for all day vapes.

I personally know 1 guy who thought his RY4 lost flavour. So he kept adding flavoring to his RY4, and vape. And add. And vape. Over the time,

it's been rumoured that you can smell him 1st before seeing him.

Now he no longer vapes RY4.

it's called flavor desensitization. I got that sometime back too. Switch to contrasting flavors and u'll be okay. now I rotate around 3 flavors.

Yeah that happened to me when I vaped menthol for a month... After tat I change flavours, when i came back to the menthol my taste buds still can taste them...

I think you shud buy some everyday vapes juices... I have like 4 different bottles of juices with me in one week half, until I buy another bottle

Roger that. We swapped flavors for now. Think I'll bet more sampler packs to snooze another 2 flavors to rotate. I miss the taste of my earl grey Eliquid.

looks like everyone have this problem. I switch between 2 flavors everyday and both flavors are still going good.

I've been vapin RY4 for 2 months, then one fine day, it just doesn't taste like it used to be, so now i'm changing my everyday vape to lichee, slowly the RY4 taste comes back... So i think the trick is switching between your fav flavours will do, our tounge will also be immune to certain food if we keep eating it everyday...

Thank you Magnus. That's a tonne of needed info. I notice all and I mean ALL of my flavors feel like they have been mixed with water. time for some coffee, saltines and plenty of mouth rinsing!

Also you this is ur chance to explore new flavours that are sold locally and you can choose which is ur fav after tasting other juices...would be a waste if you nvr try others out..

At first I tot tat I can only vape menthol juices as I feel that thats the only juice suitable for me..and dint go for others until my menthol started to change in flavour and I decided to give othr juices a try

Really meh!?...I vaped menthol mostly and after awhile either the taste go off( lao hong) or taste like medicine sia...there are times I vape menthol and it feel like I am vaping Vicks Vapour Rub for Sinus...wahh kaoooo...cannot sio!

If I find a juice starts to lose it's taste, I usually add a drop or three of another juice that I think would compliment it. That usually helps a ton. Or do what a lot of people do and switch. It's good to have a variety of flavors you like. I don't sweat flavor a whole lot, it's nice, for me I like a lot of vapor, and to at least feel the hit. If I'm not getting enough vapor to feel it, I don't feel satisfied from my vape.

Of course law cause you're menthol; my advise is for others who don't tape menthol, it can help reset the taste really quickly cause it is bland and it is good fruity flavor help as well by the way.

Eh, you menthol lover? I love the cooling sensation at the back of the throat especially after chainvaping. My entire mouth feels shoik! And it feels like I am having slurpee if i drink cold water, headache uh!
