So I'm purchasing a russian clone soon and possibly another rda and I was wondering what do i need to get? I'm looking to get as much flavor and aim for 1.5-2.5 coils. What type of wire should I get for this? 28 gauge? Also should I go with organic cotton or silica wicks as a newbie? Any sites that sell this stuff in bulk would be great too. Thanks!

28ga is good for micro-coils (sub ohm) so since you are shooting for 1.5 - 2.5 ohms 30 or 32ga Kanthal would be fine. There's nichome wire also but I don't know the Kanthal equivalent gauge wise. The wick is subjective although I think silica mutes flavor but that's just my opinion. There's so many different wicking materials available that it's something that you have to try and find out what's best for you.
As for bulk supplies, I would wait until you figure out what you like before buying in large quantities.
