Getting juice on lips

Hey guys, this is not a really big deal to me but I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I think I puff like everyone else...slow and long but I'm finding quite a bit now that a little juice comes out of the mouthpiece and it's annoying when it touches my lips because it's so strong.

Anyone have this problem and found out how to stop this? These are pre filled carts so I'm not filling myself and overfilling.

sounds like the carts may have been overfilled at the factory then - it does happen occasionally, usually softer draws prevent it. I refill a lot now, and overfill a bit sometimes, so I'm in the habit of visually checking the end if i hear a bubbling, or think it might be going to 'leak' and if i see a drop of juice either in the hole or on the end, i dab it on a tissue (or my tshirt if I've got no tissue) and it cleans it right out.

That happens to me every now and then too. The worst is when it happens to someone that I've given a VK to test! I've just told them how wonderful the VK is and then their first experience is juice on the lips8-o I can usually get them to try it again and it's all ok. Sorry, I don't have any insight into why this happens.

I am with DaShiva on this..it's annoying, but better then the alternitive..dry carts! I gave up worrying about drips and drops in the mouth a while back..after all cigarette junk I got on me and in me over the years..this is a "drop" in the bucket!

If you have a carto that is really doing it a lot, cut a small hole in the end of one of the condoms. Put it over the mouthpiece half-way to create a "juice trap".

I have some E9 condoms with holes that I use for this purpose. They also work for "sharing covers" to let someone else try a carto.

yeh happens every now and then. no bigee for me. Could be overfilled at the factory like DaShiVa said. You said you take a long draw maybe try a draw not as long.

i usually hold the carto battery side down and tap it on my desk a few times, that usually stops the juice comin back out the mouthpiece for a bit lol

hmm, maybe it's because sometimes after a few puffs and the carto is warm then i don't lay it on a flat surface and it runs to the back

I get the juice every now and then on both new and refilled cartos, guess I've just gotten used to it. I just wipe it off and keep vaping. If it happens often I do take the cap off and dry off both the cap and the rubber juice stopper inside.

Hehehe, this is true but it honestly doesn't bother me much. At first the juice used to tingle and give a bit of a burn but not really anymore as I've gotten used to it. Seems most of them do that but I'm still adjusting to a light draw, I was a pretty deep draw person when I smoked!

It is a result of too much liquid when filling or topping off.

Oh wow yup me too, but it makes my tongue absolutely raw so I'm all over the issue!

So, assuming you haven't overfilled, and/or it's a new carto, one of these things will fix you right up.

First, roll up a corner of a paper towel etc and thread it down the mouth piece just in case a bit of juice has gotten between the O-ring and the cap. I don't bother with a full disassemble for this, just feed a bit of absorbent down there to swab it up. Sometimes this works perfectly to solve the problem.

BUT.... just as likely to be a dirty battery IMO, creating a hard draw. If enough air can't move through the carto, then you're literally sucking juice up like the carto is a straw. So make sure the air holes in your battery are free and clear, wipe off the threads, and your carto will vape much nicer!

Battery is pretty clean, and I don't see any juice in the hole. Do you guys screw the cart tight to the battery? Or do you leave it just atad loose?

I'm getting it quite abit, it's to the point i'm paranoid and have too look after every puff lol.

It depends on the battery really, I tighten it so I get the best draw. Some take more tightening others draw better a bit looser.
