Ordered from Myer at Nothern Vapor, very helpful dude. I'm really excited, Have cut down from two packs a day to about half to 3 quarters a day. Really hoping this will get me to kick the habit. I do have a few questions though. Should i stick with the stock atomizer in the kit, or are their better ones, I'm reading that the stock atomizers and carts are not usually good from Joye. But being in Canada online stores dont' seem to really have a fully loaded hardware section. Thanks, and I've learned so much from this forum from just reading. I've also ordered 4 bottles of juice.

Hey congrats Gnelkos. The Joye atties arent bad by any means, I think people have been questioning the consistency in their production quality but I have never had an issue. There are atomizers you can get that are called low resistance atomizers, they allow more current through the atty itself, which makes more vapor, but I wouldn't recommend anything like that on a straight 510, it could probably mess up the battery, and your battery wont last very long using one. You can get cartomizers though, which are atomizers inside of a cartridge (basically) and they are pretty sweet. Theres an advantage to using them because you dont have to fill them often.

You probably know that information already but I threw it in there to make sure. Different vendors sell different brands, I cant think of any off the top of my head that carry a Joye 510 knockoff atty.

Welcome gnelkos!

My apologies for not seeing your thread sooner.

Yes, the standard 510 cartomizers (which are made by Boge) are threaded to fit a Joye 510 battery (an excellent first e-cig btw) or an eGo or Mega eGo. I get mine from Jack at Happy Vaper. I've been using them exclusively since day #1 as a vaper, for over 6 months now...and I love them! I highly recommend 510 cartomizers over a separate atty, especially to newbies.

I'll send you a PM with some info on them, as well as filling & cleaning them.

Congrats on your new 510!

Not sure where you are getting your info from but JoyE is the most consistent producer of quality product out there.

I got my dad to kick his 2 pack a day habit of 57 years on a 510 kit! I personally think the 510 paired with any standard cartomiser is the best answer. Carts are just too messy and inconvenient. I started with carts and stayed with them for quite awhile and I should have tried cartos earlier. Cartos aren't perfect either but I think there is a higher level of satisfaction with them overall

I love the flavour of dripping...... but I HATE the mess at the connector and inconvenience ! I need to try it with a 510 to 510 adaptor and see if it cuts down on the battery mess/leaking.

I just recieved my stormy E2 clear tankomizers, but need to read up on them first. I'm on standby for the MAP Tank..... wooot !

And I also want to buy a VapeMate from Jack for at home.

I dont have much of a problem with leaking anymore.. once you know how different viscosities of juice handles you can adjust your drips.... backwoods brew takes 3 drips for me =)

WOW! you guys are incredibly helpful, and I will keep you guys posted, canada post has delayed my delivery I didn't get it today, but I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow, i know its shipped out cause I have a tracking number. Thanks a bunch rachel for the pm's really helpful and thank you to everyone else, feeling more confident about my purchase now. Definitely gonna invest in some cartomizers from happy vaper, and test out vapables later on. Waiting is really the hardest part.

Yeah I hate waiting, especially when you don't get your package on the guaranteed day. I know Canada post expresspost has a "money back" guarantee, if they don't get your items to you in the promised time they will refund you the shipping costs. I have never bothered to make a complaint myself, it's just too much red tape and you will likely get some "act of god" reasoning why it's late. And in those cases they won't refund you anything, but if your willing to try you might just save $9 on your goods.

wow, thanks smokum, now i'm looking into different e juices, vg and pg bases, i see vg will produce more visible vapor and packs a punch in the flavour daprtment, but notices many suppliers us pg only, I see vapables.com has some vg based fluids, but seems like that could be overpowering, seems like a lot of people prefer a mix of them 90%pg and 10%VG

ps: MY delivery status is now :OUT FOR DELIVERY woot woot, nah i don't think i will try to get a refund for shipping, i am most of the time impressed with canadapost considering their prices compared to most other companies.

Well I just got my 510 and tried a prefilled cart, i was very dissapointed, tried a cartomizer, and a little more impressed, then tried some direct dripping and tons more impressed, though the juice i got from northern vapor isn't bad, but definitely lacks in the flavour department, vapables will be my next stop, haven't had a cigarette in 3 hours, thats a good sign, thanks to everyone for the input, we'll see how a full day goes tomorrow, mind you i have a pack of analogues in my bag,

this reminds me exactly of an argili/hooka or arabian .... for smoking flavouried tobacoo, it's gonna take some getting used to but once i really find the proper liquids or even start making my own i could really see switching over to this thing, i think i'm getting a little high off the nicotine, been overvaping, just trying to judge what i think, and i'm not totally sure yet
